Ever since the so called rock artist Ronny Rocken showed himself in his own online radio show, we’ve had to stand a series of untasteful jokes about beating people, booze, genitals and god knows what. And why would his music be any better? Just the combination of words like freedom and designs very similar to the nazi flag would tell enough about where this guy stands. To make matters worse, his homepage encourage the consummation of this new single, designed in the colors of your own country. Thankfully, a lot of stores has already decides to not sell the new productions of Outhouse Studio. But the internet still makes the market very simple for this treat. So do us all a favor and avoid Outhouse Records in the future. ~A music saver And we here at Outhouse Studio can only agree. Two riffs before drums and bass joins the sound. Four times before we finally hears the hollow voice of Rocken himself. There’s a strong undertone to the whole thing, just waiting to explode, though the band seems to be able to keep it under control. Freedom (no more) is… A low and angry song, compared with a lot we’ve heard from this artist before. Like a first in your guts, we get to hear the story of a corrupted government based on lies and dirty tricks. We also get an encouragement for not taking just any shit and a look into where things goes, once the people have had enough. Finally it’s toned down for the end with the same beat it started, while several recordings from elections over the world takes over before the song dies out. They’ve had 4 years to correct What the others left behind But the guys we did elect They got other things in mind With their right hand they will teach you What is wrong and what is right With their left hand they will leash you When you forgot just how to fight Freedom What are we waiting for? But it still got the typical beat in a rockin’ kind of way. The song is a plain out tribute to the guys with the hairiest chins in the whole music industry and adopt a lot of the old blues rock sound ZZ Top had in their early days. Not to mention the lyrics that takes references from this band whenever they can. All of it splitted up between long guitar riffs. However, soon enough, the heavier guitars takes over with a slow and powerful intro ala 70’s rock and metal style. This is a new sound for Ronny Rocken and shows that he can do much more than the simple rock n’ roll/rockabilly sound he’s usually compared with. Some people call it a joke. Ronny on the other side says it’s a very serious song for Mr. Frost himself. Influenced by the speech he held about cleaning up at Mountain Creek and make it a good place to live at. Further, I'd like to let you all know that Freedom (no more) has sold gold and is the 4th gild selling single released by Ronny Rocken & the Roadmasters.
