If we were to make the new forum (if it does happen, but it'd be best to have a bunch of different opinions here), a Mod like GK or C4A would make it and similar to the way that the Idolised forum (which uses Invisionfree) has subforums that link to other forums, we can do that and link to the one we have right now. That one would be our, "history" so to speak and have everything we posted prior to our stuff on the new forum. |

a backup forum so to speak? basically bypassing the need for carl to descend from the heavens and help us?
i wonder if this forum is salvageable,but needs a vital update? though personally,i cant believe carl didnt use invision or proboards or something like that. is yet another forum owend by one of his buddies? ive never seen it used anywhere but here.

i agree whole heartedly. there is going to be the time it crashes for good. i dont know about anyone else,but ill be damned if ill do actual work at work. ill write the hesses adventures on post it notes before i let that happen. |

Well, we should get everyone's opinion first. Even though the four of us currently agree with it, GK, GirlSpice, Walton, McKenzie and a ton of other people still have to show their opinions. I say we give this thread a week or until like Sunday before we do anything big. |

I think we should create a new forum ASAP. This site is getting on my last nerves lol. I'm all for it. I'm just afraid that I won't get used to the new site. And I don't think the site owner has to be a mod. But I'd want the owner to be C4AJoh preferably.

I completely agree with the need for a new forum. I don't know why anyone would disagree with the fact that it's needed, even if it's solely used by the ones who do RPs. The errors have always been a thing that's happened here for as long as I can remember, but each time they've just grown to be more of a hassle. The work everyone has can remain here, although I would say everyone should save what they want, at this rate I don't believe the server can handle much more. A new forum would just mean a transition of sorts, it's not a total restart in terms of roleplaying. Hopefully this can be done soon. There's a couple of free options where the forum can be created easily. It's not like you need a ton of design to it all. |

Two Big Options for Switching: - ProBoards, is a huge option. For those anxious about losing our current things, there's an option for working to move our stuff from here to ProBoards. It's also pretty good for all intents and purposes. Biggest con is the ads which we don't have at all here.
- InvisionFree, is the best option IMO. It's what the big boys use when they RP, as can be seen with sites like:

Check out all those sub-forums bro, you aren't even ready for all those sub-forums. Look at that fucking background. Downside is ads sometimes, other than that, it's the choice we should make IMO.

If we are using Invisionfree/JCINK I'm able to help, if needed. I have some experience with coding on those from past, straightforward RP sites. There are also a few resource sites for whomever takes over and needs some coding help or backgrounds to use. |
