I'm on and off about that, some of the stuff was too whiny, but Davey has a pretty high voice. The vocals on the first album were pretty annoying because they were only like 15 so their voices hadn't deepened yet.

I really like AFI, from the early days right up to and including Sing The Sorrow. Like Davey's voice, it suits the music very much.

December Underground was pish though.

sme good stuff, some bad stuff, a lot of indifferent stuff, the same as most bands really...

i liked their earlier albums simply because they seamed fresh, and it was a newish sound, but as they have gone on, its just got a little tired....
I hate it when people see me at the supermarket and they are like:
Hey, what are you doing here?
and im just like:
Oh you know, hunting elephants

Not really one for metal me :)

But then, i do like some metal.

By metal, i mean anything with screaming in it. Im not very good at expressing what i mean sowii.

But then, i can appreciate almost every single genre of music, but for some reason metals like the only genre where i either love it or hate it.

AFI isn't metal, they're alt rock and their good stuff was hardcore.BTW most metal does not have screaming that's a bad stereotype.
