Has any1 here heard of Theatres des Vampires? They are sooooooo good! Most ppl hear opera/vampires/goth/etc. and think omg this is gay :( but u still should check out this band. Happy halloween everybody.

That first definition sums it up rather well to be honest. It has roots in homophobia, and it's used by daft and unoriginal braindead buffoons, but it is now a commonly used word in American-English. You watch TV & films I'm sure.
