The tracks instrumental carries some synths as well, but not enough to consider the track a Synth-Pop record. The beginning of the track starts off with guitar strings, but then slowly moves into a R&B/Synth beat that is heard in every chorus section of the song. "Ocean Blue" slightly switches tempos all through the song, but not enough for it to be not to be considered a slow Pop-R&B track. The track carries a brilliant instrumental that is great for an opening track. The track was produced by, Christian Fallon & Aiidan Davis. Lyrically the track tells of a love story. We can say it's about a brokenhearted girl/guy getting a good rebound after a messy breakup, not to be harsh on the lyrical meaning. Whoever the rebound of the brokenhearted individual was, we can say she/he is going to be staying for a while since throughout the whole track it tells of the brokenhearted individual removing their messy pass away and wanting to move forward with the new relationship they have started with the rebound. Don't get turned off by the cheesy love story though, the way the story is presented is brilliant. Instead of telling people "Hey I found this rebound and I actually want them to stay" straight up, they explain the song with Oceanic/boat references?..we're not sure, but we're loving it. The track was written by, Medina Valbak & Chaelin Hue. COMMENTS: Tracks commented by members who highly favor the track. Chaelin: "Ocean Blue" is my second favorite track from the record, not because I wrote it, but because it tells the rare story of a rebound becoming the main one. The rebound to me is the typical "Good Guy" that never gets a chance because the "Bad Boy" is always the one who gets the ladies. So like any love story when the "Bad Boy" leaves the girl she goes running to the "Good Guy" so she can temporarily forget her messy breakup. The girl slowly realizes she should have gave the "Good Guy" the first chance since she saw how well he treated her. The girl now realizes he's not regular rebound and is someone who she actually wants to truly be with. The verse "An ocean drive" references to the saying "There's plenty of fish in the sea" which in the song means they don't have to search the sea for their partner anymore, that's why we sing "Our ocean drive is afloat" so signify we swam to the surface since we're done with that stage of our life. Minzy: This is my favorite track from the album, the instrumental to me is like an art board with different colors plashed upon it. I love the way Christian & Aiidan produced the track and how my girls Medina & Chaelin wrote it. I have the song on replay and just for an early announcement this is the second single from the album so expect it to be playing in your car! "Catched Eyes" starts off with a xylophone synth then gradually moves into a deep house base that is accompanied with background vocals of the girls voices mixed together. The same beats continue and are accompanied with more synths, snaps and some shakers can be heard in the back as well. The instrumental alignment to the track switches throughout the song, but the same elements of instruments are heard. The track is mildly radio friendly, but many radio stations wouldn't give it a try due to the heavy base, but yet again it is a great track with a very diverse instrumental to it. We can say again that CMBD has another great mixed genre track in their hands. The track was produced by, Blood Diamonds & DJ Dahi. Lyrically the song is another love song that tells about how couples feel so high with the mutual love they have toward each other, A.K.A smoking good pot and fucking after. The lyrics sound as if the person feeling high on love is in some crazy acid trip. It has many lyrical references to the feelings or things you see while high on some good drugs. "Catched Eyes" also as other small elements, such as feeling confident in the relationship you're in, "Drowned in love that won't demise, Don't need a watchful eye" is a good reference to that. The lyrics are good for a love song, we can't expect too much from a love song these days since everything has already been used. The track was written by, Medina Valbak. COMMENTS: Tracks commented by members who highly favor the track. Daraxi: This is my favorite track on the album because I love how the beats and different instruments blend to make a beautiful piece of musical work. Not only is it my favorite, but it's also my most top played track from the album. I as well love the story it tells. I feel like I can relate to the high "love" has on you when you're truly feeling the person you're with. It's a random feeling you get one day when you just look at the person you love beside you and say, "Why couldn't I find you sooner." We tried our best to explain those feelings in our song so we hope our fans enjoy the track just like we do. Bom: "Catched Eyes" is my second personal favorite track. When me and the girls began working on it I knew it would become one of the tracks I highly favored. Like Daraxi said, the instrumental and meaning are well thought out and we just wanted to make a track that had all the right elements that fitted with each other. I'm really happy a track like this ended up in the album because I believe it shows what CMBD is trying to do to not be seen as another generic pop group. I love every single song, there isn't even one that is boring to me or something like that. Ocean Blue is definitly my favorite though! I can't wait to see you guys on Tour!
