Band Name: Some Kind of Planet
Origin: Seattle, WA
Current Location: Brooklyn, NY
Genre: Slowcore, Indie, Emo
Years Active: 2014-Present

Long time show goers are starting to get wise to a new band taking over headlining slots within their bar scene.
Despite being the new comers within the Brooklyn bar scene, they've been traversing Indie, Slowcore, Dance Punk,
and Post Hardcore since 2014 in their homeland of Seattle. Embarking on two headlining US tours, one tour of Canada, and a tour in Japan, the band is set to tour the US and Canada in April. Since taking a new direction in Brooklyn, NY, they have released two singles, (insert song titles here). Their two most recent releases present a slowed down, woeful take on Indie.

New Singles:

Change Your Mind

I've seen your life and it looks pretty cool
You've ticked all those boxes
And stayed in school
You had those kids you always talked about
One has your eyes, the other your mouth

I've seen those looks when I go out to smoke
Its only myself I'm killing you know
I'm old at heart but young in my bones
I'd tell you the truth but you already know

Do it by the book Daniel
All these friends
How they put you through hell
All I know is to lose what I find
I don't want to change you
So just change your mind

You talked of your nan
And those halcyon times
I've just noticed we never talked of mine
I thought you should know
That she lost her mind
But I'm too tired to talk
Of all the things that I've loved

Do it by the book Daniel
All these friends
How they put you through hell
All I know is to lose what I find

But I'm too tired to talk
Of all I've loved and I've lost
I don't want to change you
So just change your mind

Sound Alike:

Hard to Not Care

It’s hard not to care
And it’s hard to watch you there
So I’ll wait. I’ll wait for you
Well aware that I’m born to lose

And it’s hard
So hard

So I’ll sit without a clue
Hiding pain with quirks and booze
And I guess I’m just a little too lame
I'm not made for this type of game

So I’Il wait

And I'll watch
Fingers crossed
As you run
You run off
