Never been a fan of her's, but anyways I like her better singing in Spanish than English I've never really liked any of her English songs.

Me is the opposite, I hate most of her songs in spanish, maybe the reason why I like her songs in English is because of her cute accent.

Let's hope it's not full of auto-tune effect.

Was never a big fan of hers, but I do a good rendition of "Whenever, Wherever". It's a great song to practise singing to.

OMG, the song is here, it is so different, like the 70's disco beat. (Love when she makes that wolf sound) Can't wait for the English version.

Sorry to say this Steph, but they had a good listen to Daft Punk. I call this stealing.
Just play it at the same time, here or on You Tube

Sorry but i detect autotune...

Though interesting considering all else I've heard from her is severely unlike this...

What? Are you kidding me not even close, It may sound a bit similar but come on that's just nonsense

Anyway, I love both of the songs.

And good news:
Shakira's song already garned postive reviews and they are saying that nothing in the charts sounds like her song, meaning were seeing a whole new direction for music. I'm tired of the autotune era. Good job shakira!

That's not autotue, that's her unique voice, they might of used a different proprietary audio processor. but not autotune.

Well vocoder for one, that's obvious enough, buut any other opinions would be welcome. the vocoder confuses me in identifying it...

either way it's a nice song.

EDIT: Listening again, 1:07 seems to hint at autotune, it's too sharply done... unless again the effects they've layered onto it are what's making it sound as such.

Well maybe, but you got to admit it sounds good, I've seen Shakira live, twice and her voice sounds very good.

To be fair though, all the bands you listen to use Auto-tune too.

Well not all, but most. It's ubiquitous.
