"Eternal" is a new song/single off Stephanie Fierce's upcoming greatest hits studio album "The Number Ones Collection" set to be released on February 5, 2021 on all streaming platforms/digital outlets under the independent record label Hot Eye Records and Free Nerd Managment imprint. As a gift to fans and in celebration of the re-launch of stephaniefierce.com the song will be made available for free download until February 7, 2021 11:59pm US eastern time. The song will officially be impacting mainstream radio on February 8, 2021. The song was written by Stephanie Fierce, Younghood, and Daniel The Freenerd and the song was produced by Daniel The Freenerd. Due to Stephanie Fierce critical health condition she wasn't involved in the production process of the song aside from writing lyrics and applying vocals. "Eternal" was officially mixed two months after her death. The song also features a rap verse from Younghood, making it the first new collaboration Stephanie Fierce has done in over 6 years. "Eternal" is also featured on the official commercial "Evolve Your Taste" for the Pepsi Super Bowl LV Halftime Show that will be airing during commercial break during the show. A 20 million dollar deal that Fierce's estate "Fierce Managment" will donate most of the proceeds to Schools for Africa.

The song's lyrics talk about the idea of living forever or being eternal in representation of Stephanie Fierce's legacy. The song's composition can be considered that of a continuation of "Evolve"; with its electro-disco and nu-disco pop sound but more elevated and hard sounding. The song also references other genres in pop music including dance-pop, pop-funk, power pop and space rock, as well as drawing inspirations from various decades of R&B and Pop styles. A pop rap verse was added by American rapper Younghood, giving the song some versatility in its production. The song also features minor uncredited electronic vocals from Daniel The Freenerd in certain sections of the song. The song was written, produced and mixed from late August to December 2020 at Freenerd Studios located in Orlando, FL which is owned by Daniel The Freenerd.

"Writing a song for a Pepsi commercial is not easy because it has to be bold and it has to be vibrant but we wanted to challenge that perception and give the song some actual meaning. Stephanie Fierce's life legacy is represented in this song in such a beautiful celebratory kind of way. We didn't want the listeners to feel sad listening to it. "I never liked the idea of living forever. I feel like all good things have to come to an end at some point. The idea of death never really crossed my mind until I was diagnosed with cancer. It's like demons were in my head trying to take control of my life and for some time it definitely made me depressed and anxious beyond what I ever experienced before. However, then I realized that we all have to go at some point and while this isn't the ideal way to go at least I know I lived my life to the absolute fullest. I was fortunate to experience the life that I did and my heart feels full and I want to show that on this song. I'm leaving a legacy behind that I know I'm proud. The song was announced as a single on February 3, 2020 via Instagram with the single's artwork being released. Prior to the announcement, it was alleged that the new single would be titled "Muse". The song was expected to be warm up to the release of "Eternal". However due to that songs controversial lyrics, the single was scrapped by Fierce Music Management. Daniel The Freenerd expressed his dissatisfaction with the decision via Instagram; advising that Fierce Management makes the right decision and allows fans to hear the song. It is unknown whether the song will be released or included on any future projects. Despite this decision; Daniel The Freenerd's produced song "Eternal" was moved forward with a release; due to the song attachment to the Pepsi Super Bowl LV Halftime Show.

A music video for the song has been filmed; directed by Jake Nava (previously worked on "Hot Shot", "Love Feels Like Grenades" and other videos from Stephanie Fierce) and will premiere on February 8, 2021 on YouTube. The music video will be the first not to include Stephanie Fierce but will be paying homage to her throughout. Helle Johnson & Younghood will make an appearance on the music video as special guests.
