Prior to release "Earn It" Her debut single "Something New" was release in July 2021 & peaked to number 4. Her album is scheduled to release in mid 2022, her second single "Earn It" was announced on her website and was supposed to be release in Feb 2022 but however due to some issue the date is pushed back to April 2022.
"Earn It" was written by Lovechild, with production coming from producer "Rodney Jerkins" & was recorded in July of 2021.. Earn It is like she kinda teasing him about if he want her love then he got to earn it. The song feature catchy vocal from Ciara of intro then did the pre-chorus & chorus as the beat started to rise with melody as it try to catch up with the song. Then it went into the verse 1 as Ciara switch up the attitude tone on the song then the 2nd verse came she goes right into smooth airy angelic voice.
