stylised in all-caps, is a song recorded by American singer-songwriter Andrea. The track was released on November 6th, 2025 through Five Pesky Kids Records. The release came as a surprise to fans and media outlets alike as Andrea and Pesky dropped the song with no prior announcement or promotion. Following on from "Ya-Ya", "Wet American Dream" serves as the second single from her upcoming third studio album, which is due for release in 2026. The track was written entirely by Mason in September 2025, with production being handled by acclaimed British-Kurdish DJ and producer, Khalil Ferreira - credited solely by his first name on the release. Following the lengthy delays surrounding her previous studio effort "Southern Belle", Andrea has stated that she wishes for a "quick turnaround" for this album cycle, with the bulk of the recording taking place only a handful of months prior.
Lyrically, "Wet American Dream" is an innuendo-filled, sexually charged track in which Andrea aids potential partners in exploring and experiencing their innermost secret desires under the guise of darkness and sworn discretion. As the title suggests, the song often flirts with and parodies themes of patriotism and the ideals of "America's sweetheart" i.e. "the perfect woman". She compares the "American Dream" to a "wet", nocturnal emissions fuelled sleep as well as including references to eating her "apple pie" and "standing to attention" for America. Andrea also focuses on her sexuality and challenging gender norms; reinforcing her bisexuality and support for the trans and non-binary community. Throughout the song she refers to being attracted to men and women, as well as those who sit outside the gender binary, singing;
"Never been one to stick to a binary / More fun to be had when it's all fluid". Coming out as bisexual back in 2011 and receiving unwarranted media backlash for the revelation, Andrea has been viewed as a "gay icon" for her bravery and her continued allyship with the community over the years.
"Wet American Dream" is a "Diva House" song with elements of dance-pop, EDM and electropop. It is seen as an expansion of the more pop-oriented sound explored on 2024's #1 single "Ya-Ya", which is also set to feature on her forthcoming album. With the release of "Wet American Dream", Andrea has ushered in yet another stark shift in sonic direction. Her debut album "In and Out of Consciousness" was a primarily country-pop and pop-rock affair while sophomore effort "Southern Belle" explored a more urban, hip-hop and R&B approach. "Wet American Dream" takes Andrea in a club-oriented direction as she seductively sings over "rumbling" and "delicious" synthpop beats that continuously build before "erupting" into a "euphoric" crescendo.

"At first glance, "Wet American Dream" may appear as another eye roll and example that could've been used as a means of showing Andrea's constant attempts at trying on different costumes to see what fits. To a degree, that is true. We do have yet another genre switch. What sells this one, however, is the sheer conviction and authenticity oozing from the track. She has now ditched the gritty hip-hop beats for something more streamlined but equally dark and intriguing. The Texan drawl laden "raps(?)" have been kicked to the curb in favour of seductive, enchanted cooing and enthralling, bombastic belting over stone cold, icy House beats. That's right, Andrea now has her eyes set on the Queen of Clubs moniker. To be fair, she was still at the club on "Southern Belle" just a very different one in which she snuck into using someone else's ID. This time around, forget 'Belle', she's the Grand Dame of the ball."
"Andrea has never sounded more convincing and at home on a track. Simultaneously sounding nonchalant and commanding, everything about "Wet American Dream" sounds tight, concise and to put it plain and simple; right. Her debut effort drew comparisons to the likes of Ellie-Grace Summers and Katie Coyle, whilst "Southern Belle" saw her try to earn the stripes adorned by R&B divas such as Rum & Coke and Tisha Jackson - all namesakes which Andrea never quite lived up to. With the quirky electropop tour-de-force of "Ya-Ya" and now the thunderous, euphoric ascension of House influenced "Wet American Dream", Andrea currently has the floor to herself and, for the first time, it'll be others begging to join HER this time around."
"Lyrically, it's hardly Shakespearean. Having said that, I now doubt William could come up with something that transcends all gender and sexualities across the board. Men, women, non-binary folk, Andrea will happily play tonsil tennis with you all, it seems. "Wet American Dream" is undoubtedly for the target audience who has stuck by her throughout all of the turmoil over the last fourteen years; the gays and the girlies. It's for the clubs, it's "cunty" as they say, and it's filled to the brim with internet shattering, photo captioning, meme-worthy lyrics. Cue a slew of "thirst traps" captioned with the title, a hilarious picture of a famous sea vessel alongside "Just so long as your boat is floating / I'll ride away on any ocean" or, in a much darker tone as expected on the internet, a bleak reference to recent events in America signed off with "Like to lick the gun while it's still smoking". Yes, I went there but trust me, many others will too - above and beyond."
"While many are dismissive of the dance-pop genre as a whole, viewing it as "disposable" and "vapid", it appears as though Andrea has had a much more profound experience toying with club-ready beats. All in all, although she isn't reinventing the wheel, Andrea is firmly behind it for the first time in her career."
