The Chickmunk Girls are releasing a new Extended Play to "The Chickmunk Girls" September 15, 2009.


EP TALK:
TCG: (Olivia) The EP has 10 very short and sweet tracks. Most which were left overs from our album. We have a whole new direction we wanna go with our next record and we thought these tracks didn't fit that direction so we though of releasing an EP so they wont go to waste.

1ST SINGLE TALK:
TCG: (Kathy) We never realized the track was so good until we actually finished it, we also met up with Stephanie Ortiz who is also a newcomer to join in on the fun. (Olivia) Lets just say it was a blessing to work with her. She was very sweet and professional and it definitely was a pleasure to work with her. (Shanti) I know and she also helped out with the artwork which turned out so great.

Kathy: We just wanted let Aurora fans to know that our style is completely different from Aurora's. One we don't really know who Aurora is and two I'm pretty sure the concept of our song is completely different. Aurora did not invent the chess board pieces so we appreciate if you lay off and its not the first time chess board pieces are used for single artwork.

Kathy: Why as an artist would you say that, what if the situation was that we took your idea as of inspiration. (Which we didn't, we don't even know who the fuck you are). My focus isn't on being original which is the reason why music is so robotic these days. Our artwork is always based on whats on our minds at the moment and what comes out of it was a chess board piece. Like we said you did not invent the chess board pieces and our artwork has nothing to do with your performance, and we haven't even performed the song yet and you don't even know what the song is about about so we don't know what you are talking when you say "unoriginal".
