Johnny Johnson, lead singer of The Rockers, was working on a top secret film with his brother Joey and former Rockers member Robert Kain. The film is a western and was just completed before Johnny collapsed on stage at the birdies due to a mild heart attack. The film is set to be released on September 18th, which is Johnny's 39th birthday. The trailer is below.

Johnny is said to have wanted to star in a western film since he was 6 years old, and after the success of his last film, The Trigger, he decided that this was going to be his next project. He had kept in in tight wraps, only hiring people he knows and not letting any news slip to the press. Filming finished 8 days before his heart attack and Cody Goggin who directed the film, says that he was very eager to see the reception upon its release. Johnny should be well enough to attend the premier this Thursday and hopes to see it with many of his fans. |
