American Roots and Psychedelic Rock & Roll from the 60s and 70s, hasn't been much popular the last couple of years , not from 2007-2009 anyway. There were some bands who tried it, but it's hard to remember some names. As always we try to fuse different elements of Rock, Folk, Bluegrass, Blues, Reggae, Country, Jazz, Psychedelia and Gospel in our music. Live performances are always important for us and we always try to record our new albums in one or two takes. We believe in this recording techniques. What you hear is what you get.
On this third album we collected ten songs with different styles, but when you listen to it very closely, al ten of them are all typical Noses songs. There is a lot of Blues on it (Dupree's Lemon Blues,Cumberland Refugee Blues,Lonely Wolf) a little Bluegrass (Wild Muddy River) and a lot of Rock (The White Dog Story,One More Monday Morning,Light Years Away,Bennapin Station). Most of the songs we wrote in the Bay Area. One song i wrote in Amsterdam, in a coffeshop smoking a big joint.

BOSLEPEL RECORDS e-mailed us about the album charts atm. Consider its a bit of a blues album, we are not doing bad, not bad at all.
Second week in the UK still at #1, in the USA we dropped from #1 to #2, in Canada we were at #6 but now at #2 and in Europe we are also doing well, from #10 to #9. Worldwide, in the ALBUM TOP 40, Light Years Away is the 29th best selling album at the moment.

Top album, amazing stuff. The blend of the genres is just fantastic and you really show your talent by doing so. Love it!

Taken from our Light Years Away album, we picked this one as our new single. Lonely Wolf. "The Lonely Wolf waits for its prey. It will get you on one sunny day." It will be released in the USA, UK, Europe. Australia and in Canada.
We greet all the Noses all around the world. Don't get shaved for nothing
Jerry Grossweild.
