The title should explain everything...

Round Here - Counting Crows
The Bends - Radiohead

Right now I can't think of any other songs that I can put in the same group as those two.

Too many, but of all of them, Old Man Gloom's 27 minute epic Zozobra is a sure shot.

Also, a recent obsession:

Eh, I could probably narrow it down to maybe favourite 100. Or 250. I dunno. Top 1 song? Too hard.

Wow man thanks for sharing that with us, I don't give a crap what the forum says or thinks but it was amazing. The song is corny but epic at the same time.

This is bloody hard. As much as Coheed and Cambria are my favourite band, my favourite song is probably:
The riff that starts at 4:39 is just mind-blowing.
Awards (stroking myself and thinking I'm superior):
@Chaos awards:
Best Band - Mind
Best Album - Shattered Fairytale by Mind
Technical Ecstasy - Jason Smith (x3)
Best Solo Male - Jason Smith
Birdies:
Best Producer - Jason Smith

OK, did some thinking. This is some of what I came up with.

That'll do. To start with. It's exceedingly hard to try and single out favourite songs, but those are some that I do keep coming back to.

It has, for obvious reasons, a metal bias. But there's a couple non-metal tracks in there
