Awesome, a shout-out from Reckoner! Now my life is complete! If Troy was as drunk as the rumors say he is, than that just makes this concert even more impressive; I'd never be able to perform as amazingly in that condition. I'm honored to be touring with people as talented as you!
-Eric Quillington

OOC: You did a great job, dude, you shouldn't be disappointed! I'm looking forward to the second part.
Kid Anything- Indie/Britpop/Shoegaze; influenced by Sigur Ros, XXYYXX, Kanye West, Blur, Oasis

(Bringing together an eclectic group of influences, Ulysses' songs are sung with carefree abandon by Nick Junk)

Kurt Ulysses - Songwriter, Guitarist, Backup Vocalist
Nick Junk - Vocals, Mojo

Infinite- Alternative/Experimental Rock; influenced by Muse, Radiohead, and The Beatles

(Known best for their experimental music and their frontman's eccentric behavior, the band disbanded after Eric Quillington's death to pursue solo careers or, in Matt Robert's case, peace of mind. Infinite released four albums over the course of their career; Blue Nebula, Midnight Skies, Insomnia, and Dancing about Architecture.)

Eric Quillington (Deceased) - Lead Vocals, Lead Guitar, Piano, Primary Lyricist
Matt Roberts - Bass
Greg Oldson - Drums, Backup Vocals, Secondary Lyricist
Amelia Florentine - Keyboards, Piano, Lyricist, Backup Vocals

"When asked 'how do you write?' I invariably answer, 'one word at a time', and this answer is invariably dismissed. But that's all it is. It sounds too simple to be true, but consider the Great Wall of China, if you will: one stone at a time, man. That's all. One stone at a time. But I've read you can see that motherfucker from space without a telescope."

Part 2
Carl pulls Troy out of the crowd since it was obvious Troy needed help. Troy was too drunk to stand for himself and Carl had to talk to him about his stunt.

"Dude, don't ever try that again when you are drunk, you were lucky I even helped you.." said Carl as he confronted Troy.

"Fuck off" said Troy as he pushed Carl away. Carl was always the good guy so he didn't say a word and just went back to his post.

Troy started to play a jazz sounding riff as Carl and JC looked at him with slight anger, Troy was being a huge asshole and they had nothing to do since they were infront of a huge audience, Troy was playing a song not from the set list and the band didn't know what to do. They had to go on by adjusting to Troy's changes. The situation becomes worst as Troy tries to replace the song with some adlibs, mostly containing the words "fuck" and "shit", the whole performance was televised and this was just under the belt. Carl signals one of the crew members to cut off Troy's microphone and it was done quickly, Carl then goes to his microphone and sings instead, Troy acted like nothing happened but continued to be an asshole. He started to kneel down and play a Hendrix solo which was also out of the song, the band had to go on and just as the song came to an end, Carl brought Troy backstage. JC, JPC, and Tristan had to divert the crowd's attention by adding in an extended slow jam.

"Dude, what the fuck were you doing?" asked Carl in an angered voice.

"Just chilling out dude" said Troy. He then got a plastic containing marijuana from his pocket.

"What the fuck?! You're taking drugs?!" Carl then grabbed the plastic and threw it in the garbage bin.

"Moth--------!" screamed Troy as he proceeded to punch Carl, fortunately Carl was able to dodge and he took Troy down.

The crew members had to stop the fight before anybody got hurt. Carl was brought back on stage as Troy was left to the medical staff. The band had to adjust quickly to the changes since it seemed that Troy wasn't going to perform for the night. Carl had to replace Troy as vocalist and Tristan had to do back up vocals. The show went on.

"Experiencing some problems with Troy's voice so he had to rest, luckily I'm here to take his place" Carl said as the band went to the next song Negative.

Negative was one of the band's most famous songs to date and the crowd sang along with every word. The song was incredibly sung by Carl, who had the widest vocal range in the band, the main reason he didn't become vocalist was the fact that Troy has a higher range, still shorter than Carl's though but could reach notes higher than Carl's. The song poured out Carl's anger as he sung it he let it all out with Negative and as the song reached its bridge, Carl belted out an A4, the limit of his vocal range, making it sound a bit screamy. The song ended with no vocals since Carl rested for a minute, he knelt down as he played a soulful solo, his voice had too much tension so he had to rest it while JC played the piano.

"Thank you!" Carl said. He paused as he looked at the huge audience they had.

"So this next song is from our album Backstabber, and this is the title track." The crowd cheered as Troy and JC started to play the song.

Carl plays his rhythmic chords while JC goes for some adlibs, JPC added some distortion to add another rhythmic effect, Tristan went on to play some snare and bass action. The song was fairly simple so it went out smooth. The song ended with a wide positive reaction from the crowd, Carl smiled as he started playing the riff to the next song Daydream, earlier Infinite played this song's solo.

The song is famous for reviving the psychedelic pop sound of the 60's, but giving it a fresh and modern ring to it. JC plays his favorite effect, the wah wah, as Carl plays his slightly distorted guitar, JPC continues to play in distortion to give it a thicker sound. The song was not really played much live because of its complex riffs, but it was laid out perfectly by the band, Carl sang in a really nostalgic sounding voice as Tristan accompanied him with his falsetto. The song ended with JC prolonging his solo as Carl went backstage to check on Troy.

Troy was slightly feeling better, he was a bit sober already, but had to rest for a few more minutes before he was completely ready.

To Be Ended
OOC: Thanks to the positive reactions to my first part guys, it motivated me to continue with the whole RP..

Part 3
It looked like JC and the rest of the band were out of jams to play so Carl quickly asked Troy if he was fine, Troy nodded in reply, he was finally sober and ready to play. Carl signaled JC that it was all alright and JC signaled the others that it was safe to stop. Carl dashed for the microphone in order to give Troy a proper introduction. It was as if Carl's anger was all washed away and he had quickly forgiven Troy, on the other hand, Troy didn't remember a thing and stretched widely just like he just woke up.

"Oh yeah! Everybody please welcome back, the one and the only Troy Mascenon!" screamed Carl as Troy staggered into the stage.

JC, JPC, and Tristan played a riff as Troy entered to the stage, everybody cheered as Troy went on to his post, he paused for a minute and smiled at the huge audience before him.

"Are you Ready!!!??" screamed Troy as the crowd cheered in reply.

JPC played this distorted bass line as Tristan accompanied it with a slow paced drumbeat, accompanying the gloomy feeling of the song. The song is also from Everything X and is called I Am Nowhere, a gloomy and eerie song about a deranged man. The song goes on for a while until some violins enter along with Carl's light tremolo picking and JC's synths. Troy sings in his head voice in the verses while Carl accompanies him with some echoing voice effect. The song's chorus is very distinct as the violins get even louder and Troy starts to sing in falsetto as the guitars get slightly distorted. The song ends with Troy screaming as he calls it-"Matt Bellamy style". The song with the violins fading away as the feedback of the guitars get prolonged. The crowd cheers as Carl thanks the crowd, Troy was sober but still a bit dizzy judging by his looks.

Carl and JC start to play this blues riff, an instrumental, as Troy begins to recover from his drunkenness. After a few minutes, Troy goes straight into the song called Underground City Blues. It was more of a guitar oriented song, with distorted guitars by JC and Carl both playing a blues riff, while JPC plays an upright bass and Tristan plays this unique 5/4 timing drumbeat. Troy sings in a high toned voice, chimes play with every line he sings and a whale like sound accompanies it. The song is said to have originated from a blues riff Carl wrote during recording sessions, therefore the lyrics have no direct concept, almost nonsense. The song ends with JC and Carl playing more distorted blues riffs, ending with a sudden stop. The crowd cheers as the band end their set with an epic song.

"Thank you Teignmouth for your awesomeness, without this town there would be no Reckoner! Lets end it all with a bang shall we?"
says Carl as the song begins to play.

Tribal drums are heard from the background as everybody bops their head to the beat. Tristan later joins with his drums as JC and Carl start to play the riff to Catalyst Analyst. The second section begins with a bang as everybody starts to bang their heads in the air, some jump, some throw balloons in the air, while some form mosh pits, everything slows down with the blues section where everybody begins to calm down and some people clap at the artistic feel of the section, everybody begins to clap in rhythm as JC begins the forth section with his piano solo, a grand and mesmerizing piano piece played by JC as JPC accompanies him with some synthesizers. The final section explodes as the electronic beats and heavy synthesizers begin to take place. the whole venue turned into a dance party as everybody danced like crazy. The band did not end the song in a conventional way as they let the music of the beats and the synths to play as they all went to the middle of the stage and bowed down to the crowd, they all stage dived afterwards and the night ends perfectly, a great show indeed.

The End

Entry No. 1

Well it's really girly for me to say something like dear diary or something real cheesy to open this up so I'll just get straight to the point. The whole UK Leg was a blast, a really amazing tour opener. From the first gig in Teignmouth to our epic performance in Wembley Arena, the energy of the audience made us go through 23 straight songs! That must be the most songs we have ever played in one night. Well the effort we put in our practices were obviously worth it. Highlight of the tour would have to be our supporting act Infinite, it only happens once in a blue moon that a band could have such a great supporting act as Infinite. The energy and determination of Infinite to put on a great show is truly inspiring and that's how a band should be. If only we could have Infinite support the whole tour. Well now we're hanging out in Ibiza for a few nights of relaxation since we'd get back touring in September 1st for the European Leg so I'd have to go now, don't want to miss out on all the fun outside!
