O'Bryan Richmond doesn't want to be just one of those "pretty boy" R&B singers who just sings about girls, sex, cars, and money. O'Bryan's new single includes some major political views from him. He uses the time to explain the meaning of his new single 1967 Doo Wop (Wrong Things). The song is about how much America's and this world as a whole has changed since 1967. And how it seems as if we don't care anymore about our fellow human beigns needs but we simply care about the materialistic things in life. O'Bryan wanted to broadcast this statements in a song because he feels its one of the many ways we can use music to use as a blueprint to others.

O'Bryan Richmond: There has been alot that has been going on lately. And I have been worrying about alot lately. I sat down and realized that growing up, I didn't have to face many of the obstacles or problems that our youth has to face today. You have so many world issues, and there are so many voices out there, with different opinons that there is no voice of reason. I am not saying I want to be that voice of reason or I am, but I want to show the people that there is nothing worng with liking or desiring sex, car, clothes, money, and all the othe lavish and wonderful thing in life, but there is a such thing as caring about a certain community, certain human beigns, and MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL TO ME, Our youth. With alot of the things going on today like drop out rates of high school students increasing, teenage pregnancies, trouble at home, who are our doctors, lawyers, and educators going to be?

1967 Doo Wop (Wrong Things) will be released on Thursday.

O'Bryan Richmond has been a very busy man lately. He is gearing up for the release of his debut album, in stores September 14th, 2010. He is Agoing to release his second single off the album called 1967 Doo Wop (Wrong Things). He is also preparing tp gp on tour with R&B Diva Alicia Lena as a supporting act. O'Bryan is making a name for himself, and he has come a long way from the streets of Brooklyn. The song gives the world a glance with what is going on with people in the inncer cities of America. And how we can help them. The single is also about the motives of men and women. The single is true R&B, Hip-Hop, and it is Just "the truth", as O'Bryan would say.

O'Bryan explains how 1967 Doo Wop (Wrong Things) came about: "WELL THE SONG WAS JUST GOING TO BE A REGULAR SONG ON THE ALBUM, UNTIL I WAS IN THE STUDIO ONE DAY AND I REALIZED WHAT WAS GOING ON IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD. I COME FROM THE HARD STREETS OF BED-STUY, BROOKLYN. SO IM LIKE THERE ARE SO MANY CORRUPTED PEOPLE NOT ONLY OUT THERE BUT IN ALL DIFFERNET PARTS OF THE WORLD AND ESPECALLY IN INNER CITIES. SO WHY NOT COME UP WITH A SONG FOR THEM, AND TRY TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM, RATHER CREATING ONE. AND SHOWING ADULTS AND THE YOUTH THAT, HEY IF I CAN DO IT YOU CAN AS WELL. AND TO NEVER SETTLE FOR LESS. I WILL ALWAYS GIVE BACK TO MY COMMUNITY BECAUSE I WANT THEM TO STRIVE.

Ladies,Ladies, Y'all know some of y'all are wrong

Now you wanna pray when you only need his help
Sorry lil mama but that's now how you do it as a real christian
Sure the lord will forgive you for choosing to be Jezebel like
Now he tell his boys
