What are you doin' after Melancholy Road?
Well its not been a question asked that often but we've thought it out. We'll probably be doing a small tour and a single low budget music video for a single on Melancholy Road. After that we've talked it through and we've seen people doing Blink 182 Tribute Albums and Iron Maiden Tribute albums. So we decided to maybe do an Agents of Fortune tribute album. Agents of Fortune is an album by Hard Rock band Blue Öyster Cult. We've also got a DVD of a very small live show we did in the Gilmores' basement. Featuring 5 songs we never thought we'd play again. We might release it, might not. Who knows? That's it for now. |

SORRY SORRY SORRY:
Tomorrow we'll be releasing a kinda crappy DVD called SORRY SORRY SORRY. It's of our first performance as a band and it was filmed in the basement of The Haunt. We only made 150 copies so we'll be releasing them in person on Tuesday, September 7th.
Where? The Ithaca Commons. Stop by and meet the band, it should be fun. |

Our current plan is to release two Singles, WAR PARTY featuring WAR PARTY & B-Sides: One in The Same & GIFTSTAR Theme(Rutherford H. Blue) Little Dots on the Radar featuring Little Dots on the Radar & B-Side You Won't Even Wonder One of the two or maybe both will have a music video, we'll ask Mallory about it but currently our plans are practicing our sets for the I'M ON A BOAT TOUR. We've finished up developing the theme and base of the tour. We will begin every show with a line about how GIFTSTAR was created, "At the end of a Universe a mysterious man appeared on planets, long forgotten. He appeared before children and in his arms he carried a large box of which joyful songs came out, yet the children were told to never open the boxes. Inevitably a child did open the box and he found that the Box was made out of stars and it contained stars. The stars were too much for the child and its universe was enveloped by a dark light which turned the Universe into a large Nebula. The child was turned into its own Star, a gift & warning to future generations, future species. |
