Tisha Jackson has been taking a break for a while. Right off of an career high, she had her first #1 album this year, her latest album has I...AM BEAUTIFULLY HUMAN has sold more than 7 million copies worldwide with the help of the re-release of the album. And she is just coming off of a huge sucessful headlining tour, which grossed over 70 million dollars. But is the beauty ready to conquer the world again? We'll read the September Seventeen Magazine issue to see.

Seventeen: Hello Tisha, How are you?

Tisha: Im well, Im well.

Seventeen: So how is your break going?

Tisha: Well, I took a break. And it is going pretty great. Im just well rested. I have done nothing but sleep and party for the past couple of months which is heaven to me. Haha. But I just really enjoyed my summer. I had fun.

Seventeen: Well, you've been on break for a while, and many people want to know what's next for Tisha?

Tisha:Well, I didn't know whether I wanted to come out with a new album or not. But now I feel inspired again, so I have gotten back in the studio. Everything is a work in progress though.

Seventeen: So when will we be able to hear new music from you?

Tisha: Well, hopefully I will have something out for you guys by Christmas, the end of the year. Or maybe the top of 2011. You never know what may pop up. But I want to just take my time and move at my own pace.

Seventeen: How will this album rivral past Tisha albums?

Tisha: This album will be very different than other Tisha albums, because I am feeling so much that I want to sum it all up and incporporate it into one album. And I want to try different generes as well. It is very emotional. So we will see how it all turns out.

Seventeen: Do you consider anybody a threat to you? Or are you scared of people trying let up your rain?

Tisha: Not at all. A long time ago, I used to care about what people thought about me, and if they liked me or not. And I wanted everyone's approval. But who is anyone to say oh, you need my approval to prove your something, you need my approval for that. I used to be scared along time ago about that. But I was lacking self esteem, and confidence. But now I know me, I am assured of myself, and THE ONLY ONE, WHO COULD EVER SCARE ME, IS GOD. I don't have any worries about anyone or scared of anyone is this buisness. Because I just have so much confidence in me and everything I do, you can't tell me nothing!

Seventeen: So do you plan on staying with Spice Records?

Tisha: I really haven't heard anything from Spice Records you know. They seemed to have shut down, but they haven't let the artist on their rochster on anything or updates on them. But I am not renewing my contract with them. I am definately looking for another label. But you should hear something baout me inking a deal sometime in the next month.

Seventeen: Well, we can't wait to hear from you again. Nice catching up with you
