INSIDE THE MIND OF ZULLA Lady Zulla, real name Andi Gila was born June 8th 1988 in London, Paris. She was raised by an single mother. The britian accent songstress is now ready to take you in the mind of Zulla. Now, at the age 22 and now determined and the push to become one of the world's most famous female soft rock/ pop vocalist. Frank Gorders takes you inside the mind, heart and soul of the new girl from London that calls herself ' Lady Zulla' It going to take some time for this girl to become an household name, but she KNOWS she can do it. Frank will ask different questions to get to know the real Zulla. I got an chance to photograph Lady Zulla, her vision was out of this world creative. She was aiming for the sun is the limit to whatever you do. Frank:You grew up in Britian with her mother, tell me how it was raising your brother? Lady Zulla: My mother is an very respectful lady and she always taught us to be that way. Always be postive. I have a lot of postive outlooks on me raising my brother. My mom had to work long hours and someone how to take care of my brother. My postive outlook, NOT NEGATIVE, was that he was family and I was going to do anything to protect him.Who cares? Now, look where he is. I love him and I did do anything to provide for him. It was good times and bad times with my brother. Frank: You are an girl who loves fine art, what amazed you so much about fine art? Lady Zulla: (laughs) I remember when I was just an little girl and I rushed in to see the art show with this painter. The art itself, amazed me, the structure of it, the color, the vision and message different arts will send. It amazed me how someone can say so much in just one painting. Fine art was something that I came close with, art itself, was something I loved to do because it was something to show my feelings and how I though about things. Fine art is amazing.. Frank: Why do you like wild animals? The tiger to be exact. Lady Zulla: Why, because wild animals are free. I like to see it, as an big forest or desert, animals running around, being free. All humans or people who deserve, should be free. I like tigers because the strips represent a lot of things. It's like art in an way, my art to my impression is every strip represent us in a lot of ways. Every mark on your body, represents an pain or hurt. Sorta in that matter. Frank: Can you me why you are afriad of death? Lady Zulla: Because you never know when you are going to leave this earth, so you have to live life to the fullest. It scares me to see that. So I took one day at an time.. Frank: Where do you found inspiration at? Lady Zulla: Yes. I have three inspirations. People, Speech and Art. People, you study people, you figure people out and I write about the people in my life or who I had previously in my life. Speech, how this world is going, what people think about different approches or issues. Art, the color, the structure, the paiting, the message, all this comes together as music. Found inspirations that inspire you deeply. Like an tiger.. or my mom, Rome. Frank:Your dad left the family at an early age; was that postive or negative in an way, where did he go? Lady Zulla: He went to America after leaving from Rome. It bought an postive way on me, why? because now, I Know, how it feels to have someone go, when from the beginning, you never though they will left. So I express feelings, like EVERY human- being and I learn from them. My dad left us, so, my mom was an strong woman. Frank: You seem to have anything negative postive? Lady Zulla: More knowledge, less confusing. (laughs) Frank: You said, " my birthday is an special day for me, but also to an talent that I adore.." What do you mean?" Lady Zulla: An pationiest by the name of Mark Hawery death anniversy is on my birthday; I think that's why I love music so much. My mom use to let me and my mom, go around and dance on his piano tunes and I us to picture myself playing an big white piano on the rome Towers, performing sweet music, soft rock. He died on June 8th and I have an picture of him, on my wall. I adore him.. Frank: Why do you call Rome " an heaven art.." Lady Zulla: I use to run away the Rome villages and just take pictures with my brothers, I will take pictures and then go home and try and write an song about what did I capture. My brother will run behind me, while I'm basically pulling him to me. Rome was an place I falled in love with because I found so much of myself there and my music there because the art is BRILLIANT. Rome was this heaven thing where art was expressed to the fullest. Different approches and different unique things I loved. I LOVE these that stand out and Rome did do that.. Frank: Why did you choose ' Zulla' as the stage name after Lady? Lady Zulla: The Lady part came from me being an lady, an growing lady into woman, still figuring out this world, trying to found music to an bigger aspect. Zulla is my elter- ego, as big monster, strong, indepedent woman with talent. Zulla as in Zalla, big, blog, unique species. I'm not the roar, I'm not the scary types. I'm the one, the kind of monster who is growing. Zulla is the strong monster with talent.
