30 Years In The Making!
Over 30 years ago The Bards released their first ever album, The Lost Kings Highway I.http://www.therockstargame.com/info_album.asp?AlbumID=742 Now after what seems like a lifetime The Bards have announced the sequel to TLKH-I.

The Lost Kings Highway II
Lost Kings Highway is a massive project that has been tinkered with over 30 years. Only now, have we finally reached the dawn of this album. The first album told the tale of a mythical Kingdom under attack by the armies of "Darkness and eventually falling to ruination.

Lost King II, tells of the rise of this fallen kingdom. From the ashes of death and darkness comes a new king. Born of hope and born of courage and the drive to reclaim his fallen realm. Of course more epic battles ensue but new friendships and new stories will arise."

Return Linear Music

What we have always love to do is tell a linear story with our music. Lost Kings Highway I did it. Gods Of Mars, The Coronation and our Fields duo-ology did. We find that it makes the music more interesting and more visually appealing. When you hear the stories you can visualize the scenes, you can connect the dots. A lot of music today just like to throw down a funky beat and slap some lyrics to it, and call it a day. We aren't about that. We are known for making epic songs, we have a song that runs over 19 minutes in one of our albums. We are gonna do the same for Lost Kings Highway II.

Influences Run Deep
Our main influence since we started was Rush, Led Zeppelin & Pink Floyd. For this album we tap into our Rush influence. 2012 all the way!
