Troubled but talented musician Jack Frost has announced his next album, entitled TROUBLE IN THE HEARTLAND!

Jack Frost appeared in front of a small group of reporters and announced his next project and nothing else. He did not discuss his rehab or his love life with Cristina Lake. All Frost had to say was this,

"Thanks for coming. I'm working on my next album called Trouble In The Heartland. It's a return to my acoustic roots. Folk music of the heartland. Once again thank you."

and with that Frost left he community center of his hometown and left.

ROLLING STONES REVIEW

Jack Frost has released his 6th studio album. It marks his return to his acoustic roots but it leaves us feeling a little confused. Trouble In The Heartland shows a major change in Frosts voice. From sounding like Bruce Springsteen he has suddenly began to sound like 60's Dylan. It's an odd change but one that has taken us by surprise. Frost opens the album with Diamonds and Devils, a song about the the balance of evil/good. It's a dark tune that is the highlight of the album. Next he gets personal with the lyrically moving Brother Of War but from their he fails with slow, depressing and honestly weak songs like 44th & Stockton, Farmer Dirty Vs The Town. It sad to say but his titular song Trouble In The Heartland is an odd song that has only one chord and is dominated by Frost new voice. Change isn't always good. Nor is this album 1/4
