Short Description:
Fade is a smash-up of three songs (Fade, Japanese, and Banana Boy). Its purpose is to give an unusual/random listening experience unlike anything Daniel has released before. The song begins with a nearly 6 minute electronic keyboard (played solely by Daniel), which slowly fades after building momentum. It’s also combined with unusual metal-tubular sounds in unexpected moments. It then transisitions, to ‘Japanese’ where Daniel’s voice is finally heard over a continues drum beat. Daniel wishes he could speak Japanese. “I want to Speak….Japanese” is repeated over and over until an acoustic guitar is heard. That’s when it finally transitions to Banana Boy, where Daniel sings the song in a more soulful kind of way, taking away the catchy beats and switching some of the lyrics to accommodate the song to the guitar, which gives it a less neutral touch.

Tack-listing: 1. Black (The Rockers Cover) (6:10) 2. A Boy Named Sue (Johny Cash Cover) (3:44) [Total: 9:54]
Short Description:
“Black” is a song originally by The Rockers from the “Black” album. Even though the song never faced a single release, it’s considered one of the most underrated songs by The Rockers. The song initially didn’t have a primordial message, simply because the song was an instrumental. The song was only a representation of the title.
On November, Daniel was listening to the “Black” album and the song of the same name stood out. After listening to the song a couple of more times, Daniel gained inspiration and began to write lyrics for the song, turning it into a full song. After showing, The Rockers, the lyrics of the song, they quickly approved of the cover, and granted Daniel the rights to the song.
The song basically means that the truth is laid out in a spectrum. Each color being a shade of the truth.

Daniel, you've always been about the music, and not the fame or money. I completely respect that about you, because it's such a refreshing outlook for someone to have. Fade is one of the best songs you've ever done, so it's absolutely amazing that you're giving it away for free. I'm looking forward to hearing more about the acoustic version of Banana Boy!

OOC: Awesome job, man! The descriptions of the songs and everything are great, even in their short form. |
