ROLLING ROCK REVIEW
THE LOST KINGS HIGHWAY IS THE RETURN TO THE BARDS EPIC MUSIC ENDEAVORS! 30 years in the making this sequel shows that The Bards still got it! The Bards previous release Electric Highway --> showed us a completely different side to the legends of rock. A more synth pop album rather then that fantasy rock sound we all love and need.
LKHII delivers are fix! It was rumored that The Bards took a break from touring because they wanted to cut an album, but we had no idea that it would be this awesome. The album opens up with Wisdom Tree Rev. a near 30 minute song that gives us a soft melodic song that sends us through a Rush, Floyd and Zeppelin fused rock anthem in itself. After this mind blowing song we are sent away to the land that was destroyed by the darkness to discover that the gods have begun to battle and the alliance is reborn in one futile attempt to regain their land. The album ends with a Dragons & Kings. But we are treated to the Pirates VS Bootleggers song that we tasted some years ago.
All in all this album sent us back in time to a place where music was king. 4/4

apparently the people cannot take a 28 minute song! The Bards newest epic album, Lost Kings Highway II, fails to impress. It barely scratched the #10 across the charts and only reached #5 in the world but quickly dropped to #7.
Total sales have reached 466,820. The average sales across the charts are 66k but are expected to dramatically drop. |
