Michael Roe: Hello, good morning our lovely listeners! Its 930 am and your on the air with Michael Roe! We've got a special guest here this morning debuting her all new single which will be getting spins all day, everyone, welcome - BRITTANY KNOXVILLE!

- Inserts animated audience cheer over the radio as Brittany responds with a quite tired, but optimistic tone.

Brittany: Hey Mike, its so good to be here, so good...thanks for having me.

Mike: Not a problem, its us who's getting the listeners and you getting the promotion, don't thank me!..I also forgot to ask, do people call you by your actual last name?

Brittany: Neh, I rather Brittany Knox...

Mike grins

Mike: .....do you not want to be referred to as Knoxville because of JOHNNY Knoxville?

Brit laughs a bit more

Brittany: Hehe, not at all, well kinda, people always ask if were related and we really aren't, not even alittle..

Mike: Not even just a little?...

Brittany: ....hehehe. NO.. Mike.. not even a little.

Mike: Not even...a... heh, I believe you. But in other news, hows things been going for you? Your still new to the music business and you've attained as much controversy as a 10 year veteran on drugs!

Brittany hysterically laughs

Brittany: Wow.. that's funny. I know, life has been actually well....when I took that step to quietly step away from the entertainment aspect and actually got down to business and work on my new E.P and find the inner me, my outlook on music and being famous are different, actually my outlook on life is totally different, so in my eyes I'm freaking wonderful..

Mike: Please tell us about this da*n controversy surrounding you as an artist ..and the E.P

Brittany: Well, after some thought I thought I'd work on an new E.P a few months ago because I was feeling pretty down from all the scrutiny I got so I started learning new things about music. When your in the industry, its a learning experience, us recording artist learn so many new things every year in and out about so many different things whether it's about life, drugs, money, fans or even the music your making. When it came to me entering this business, I cannot lie, I didn't know crap! When it came to the industry, all I saw was the glitz and glamor and the sexy aspect of music. I just knew how to sing and dance, I loved music with a passion and would dream about being on the stage but people didnt see that in me. I also had my former boss who was in jail at the time of my recording and promotion so I had no one to kinda point me in the "right direction", I kinda went with my instinct and everyone followed. Growing up in Cali - the music we followed was the sex kittens, and the club banger making artists... so it only makes sense that since I've grown up in that era, I would go in the direction of that type of music. So thats what I did, it was amazing and overwhelming that so many people were excited and believed in me... so I'm like, great, amazing I'm doing the right thing, I'm doing it the sexy way, the way I know of it.. making my music club music... they love it. I made a mistake when the album was released after Leather Love... and it didn't settle in well with the industry, it didn't settle in well with a lot of people. And I thought it would. So coming a bit after that, with the release of leather love, I got ALOT of media scrutiny...alot...mostly because people thought I was over sexy, not a real artist, made bad music and so on. I figured hm.... let me just continue doing it my way, I was nervous because I was a small fish in a huge tank with big fish, i really didn't know anything but I followed my instinct and continued doing it my way and it just got worse, and worse to the point where I had to step away from the media. I was being eaten alive and it hurt. I'm thinking to myself, I dreamed of being a big star and when I at least get mid-to high exposure I'm at home crying about my experiences? After some thinking, and some quiet time, I picked myself up, I told myself, brit- this isn't gonna go anywhere unless you make it go somewhere, sitting here crying wont do anything, your a strong person, and you always have been so what the hell are you doing right now?! After that day, I've been up. I feel like the music I make now better fits me, lets me get my emotions and feelings out so much more than my previous work. I started researching into other genre's of music instead of just pop and I was really inspired, i was like, WOW, this is great I gotta make some music like this! Screw the last music, you know? So I got a couple of producers, whipped together an amazing E.P a new single for it and I'm jsut ready to start releasing it...

Mike: Wow, I get it now... I really do. Whats the feel of the E.P...any titles?

Brittany: Heh, well the title of the E.P will be called "Halfway There". And I got the title from realizing that a lot of people try and be perfect, and a lot of people expect people to be perfect and no one IS perfect, no matter how hard you or someone tries. That person could try so hard but their only gonna be HALFWAY there... you can never be there - perfect.

Mike: I really like that, you really seem to be a different person from the last time we met... really, wow...

Brittany: Thanks! That was pretty much because I was going where fame took me and I mean, of course you'd do what people are co signing and at that time, people were co signing the sexy out of control Brit but I rather be the professional, sexy, and good music making Brittany.

Mike: Do you ever regret making...music... or releasing that first album?

Brittany: Um... no... like I said it was all a learning experience and I had to learn from this for other artists out there who are looking to make it in the business.

Mike: Very true! Now, since your Brittany Knox... haha, the tele lines are going off the wall, MANY callers so were gonna give 3 lucky fans the chance to ask you any question they would like.......ok.. starting now. Hello......

Female Voice- Hello?

Mike: Yeah, your on the line on radio with Brittany Knox ...whats your name?

Female Voice: I'm Mara!

Brittany: Hi Mara, ask away...

Mara: How do you feel about Linda Fea? She pretty much chews threw everything you do and say.....

Brittany sighs

Brittany: Well, Linda will be Linda. You cant fight everyone who says stuff about you. I respect her knowledge about music since she is experienced but what can you say? Like I said I respect her knowledge but on a personal level i dont know her really..

Mike: So in other words ya' hate her...

Brittany: I don't...its her opinion on my music, shes not making me gain money or lose it. Oh well..

Mike: Thanks Mara! Next caller...

Male Voice: Hello?

Mike: Hello, your on the line.. your name is?

Male: Im Josh...

Brittany: Hey Josh your on the line with me, ask yoru question

Josh: Brittany I love you.. my question is how do you stay sane being a star and what advice do you give to hopefuls?

Brittany: Awwwwww, how sweeet! Staying sane.... well... you gotta be able to block certain things out and focus on yourself most of the time because if you let all the stress fall in on you, you'll bug out and it'll lead down the wrong path for you, we see that today in the music business and advice.. stay strong, keep staying inspired... don't stop at anything and most of all don't let anyone, I mean anyone hold you back from striving for your dream.

Josh: Thanks love.

Brittany: Your welcome!

Mike: One more caller! Hello....

Female Voice: Hello?

Mike: Your on the line with Brit Knox.. your name is?

Female: My names Jeannette..

Brittany: Hey Jeannette whats your question?

Jeannette: Whats the planned release for your E.P ?

Brittany: SOON! I'll be announcing it very very soon. Haha..

Jeannette: .Thanks..!

Brittany: Your welcome!

Mike: Thanks Jeannette. Now Brit before you go, and we premiere your all new single... tell us about it!

Brittany: My single is called Truce and its a mid temp Pop Rock, New Wave song that explains everyone should be forgiven and I'm calling a truce with the industry, my fans and myself for the wrong doings I have done. Its an inspiration but angry song at the same time and I love this song because its a very natural and real song that took me a while to right just because I was going off of personal events. I really like the new sound and hopefully everyone will too. It was produced by Danny Allen and was written by the both of us. It also has one of my all new touring members Tommy, working the guitar and an amazing electric guitar solo coming toward the end!

Mike: Woo! I'm Excited.. We are so lucky to be the first to air the song... Brit..thank you...

Brittany: Your welcome!

Waits a few seconds..

Brittany: Everyone, here's my new single....Truce....here on the air with MIKE ROE!!
