Biography

Violet Mae Summers was born in California on September 1st, 1991. As a child, she aspired to be an actress, but later switched to fully focusing on music. She finished high school last year and began her music career, against the wishes of her parents who wanted her to go to college. Despite this, she began to write her own songs, using a quirky folk-pop style that is uniquely her own, and performed at various small venues. And luckily for her, her music and talent have been noticed. Over the past year, her shows have gained in popularity and received many positive reviews. In recent months she has been writing and recording for her first single, and eventually plans to release a full-length album. More information is soon to come.

Update - November 9th, 2010

My first single (Music Is) My Best Friend is out today! Go ahead and request it at your local radio station. I heard myself for the first time on the radio earlier, and it was amazing. Thank you to everyone who supports me! It's so thrilling to have loyal fans!

It's really pepped us up as we make our way through through the Midwest, and that's no small feat. It can get pretty damn boring here in the Heartland, but not when you're providing the soundtrack. Like the Siren's song you have given us hope that better days are on their way. Thank you, Ms. Summers...thank you!
