The long-awaited (this may or may not be true) first piece of the third series of the 'Kamikaze' guitar is now available. Designed by Kathleen Kerry (also known as Kamikaze Kate) with some input from Nickola Biggs (Moronic Changeling's Nick) and the late Daphne May Hemingway (Mayhem of what was Madbirds, and leading lady of 'Fierce'), the Lithium is a cross between the raw spikes of the Kamikaze One and the more streamlined look of the Kamikaze Two. The style of this ebony piece is much more like the popular limited edition Roxtar than the past two 'regular' Kamikazes, though it still has that 'smashed up' look. Kate has, as with the Beta, included a picture of herself on the pickguard. Except this time, she's not puppy dressed as bitch. The girl's rarely-seen softer side is also shown on the headpiece, with a dedication to Mayhem.

It is now available from the blackmetal/pinkmetal shop in Bristol, UK plus the online store at blackmetalpinkmetal.co.uk. Kate has designed seven guitars in total - the Kamikaze series Pilot, K1, Beta, K2, Roxtar and Lithium, and the separate Britney. K2s are still on sale in most guitar stores, and K1s can be bought from Kate's shop and website.
