Track Descriptions & Lyrics as told by Laura Paige -

I.) Hollywood Zombies, with ElectroDeath -

Hollywood Zombies was the second song we recorded and the shortest one I believe. It was fun recording with ElectroDeath because they were experienced and came into the Studio ready. The sound of the song itself was quite fun because interestingly enough, Yulia was the drummer on this one. I was the singer and only the singer. It was a mix of sounds and is quite experimental in that.

It starts off with heavy bass that leads right to a pair of cymbal crashes. BAM BAM BAM! It happens three more times before I come in with the first line of actual vocals. Everything else is silent until I get to the second line and Pete begins to hit his tambourine. I keep going with the vocals as Maggie comes in with light guitar strums. After three more lines we head to a slow keyboard solo before Yulia stops it with a bass hit while Maggie and Pete finish the song.

I don't know who you remember me as....
but it's clearly not the same person
Wait for me in that starlight, Wait for me in the moonlight
If you don't mind I'll ask the same question
Who are you, Who are you
So make me, make me

Personnel -
Yulia - Drummer
Laura - Vocals
Pete - Bass
Maggie - Lead G

II.) Tokyo Star Crossing, Feat. Sara Daniels -

After winning the First All Around The World, we really wanted to get to work with the other two finalists and anybody else really. The first person we called was Sara Daniels. She accepted soon after and we got into the studio as soon as we could. When we got there we made a song up on the spot. We each randomly said a word, I said "Tokyo", Pete said "Crossing" and Sara said "Star". We combined it all to make "Tokyo Star Crossing", the first song to be recorded for the album.

The song starts out with a few light key strokes by Sara and then she begins the first verse of the song with Pete strumming his bass quite heavily.

Very often I find myself thinking...
About you and I

Two lines I come in with heavy drumming.

In my loss-lock symphony
No more moving
Can't let this feeling die

At that point I scream into my mic and Pete begins his bass solo. It's heavy and fast, pretty much identical to the beginning of Metallica's "For Whom the Bell Tolls" before it stops and Sara's keyboards return. Now it's only Sara and her keyboards.

Defiant pieces
Of a puzzle best left unsolved
Defiant creases
On a shirt never seen
Make history your own

I come back in with the drumming at this point.

So it's just a question
At this point of conflicting interests
Should I or Shouldn't I

and it closes right there.

Personnel -
Laura Paige - Drums
Peter Hampshire - Bass Guitar
Sara Daniels - Vocals & Keyboards
