New boys on the rock scene Hot Tin Roof are causing quite a stir Down Under. Fronted by a "nobody" singer who tripped over a homeless busker in the street who's now their lead guitarist, they play dirty rock n' roll that can only be described as ZZ Top attempting to cover a Rush song if they were fronted by Glenn Hughes of Deep Purple fame. They combine the radio-friendly anthem feel of Bryan Adams with the raunchyness of ZZ Top and mash it with the lyrics of Airbourne and The Darkness and spice it up with the progressive tendencies of Rush to create a sound that's all their own.

Attracting large crowds at local clubs on the scene in their home land of Australia, the general public are already crying out for an album release "or something" comments one bystander after limited pressings of their debut single "Jackin' Off" sold out in just days.

"I would like to take a moment to apologise to the fans who haven't managed to get hold of the single" said lead singer and chief songwriter Justin Haze of the public outcry "we are currently working on getting the single released digitally. That should happen by tomorrow. Then we're back in business. There's some shit going down at the distributors at the moment. They can't physically meet the demands being experienced for the single. I never expected it to take off in this way!"

Lead guitarist Dan West had this to say: "We are humbled by our fans and all who have supported us so far. We have finally finished putting together the songs for our debut album. Everything is going well ahead of schedule and the songs are sounding sweet in rehearsal. We're playing them over in Reb's Basement at the moment in rehearsal mode and recording a couple of rough mixes. In just a few weeks, we'll be confirming details of our producers for the album and get down to business. By Christmas you'll have a Hot Tin Roof masterpiece. When you hear these songs, faces are gonna melt. There's this track I'm really excited for you all to hear... Justin wrote it. It's called One Shot in Your Pants. That's all I can tell you. For now."
