More than 6 months after the he was found guity for an gun conviction, rapper Rel is out of prison and back on the streets. The atlanta rapper will be under unsupervised house arrest for the next 2 months. Rel, whose real name is Al Young, was released on $500,000 bond Monday night, according to his lawyer, Ron Rakosky. "He's out and he's under house arrest and he will be until the court changes those conditions or decides to drop the charges," said Rakosky. The district attorney's office will decide on March 31 whether to retry Young. Young has been facing life in prison without parole since being booked in the January 2009 slaying of 24-year-old Jason Thomas outside the Millionaires Club in Atlanta. The rapper had to pay a $250,000 bond on that charge that he is still facing , where he is accused of shooting an man over an dispute. An date for Young's murder trial.
