Genre: Rock, Progressive Rock

Everyone has been speaking about this new Kelly K rock gal, questions that escalate constantly through the media that we've heard is whether or not if she's the next Brittany Knox or her next arch nemesis, but when we spoke to this rock chick, she didn't have much to say about her alleged sister. "Heh, Brittany, I'm not going to patten my career off of being ask about Brittany Knox, I'm here to make my name distinguishable among the whole pool of damn artists in this business today, so please, do not ask me about my sister, its not about her". After Kelly K (Born Kelly Foreman) stated those very words, we knew we had an artist with a message to spread. Now, weeks later she's here releasing her Promo single called "Rotten DNA" to the radio and itunes, how will this new blood to the industry stand among the others?

Rotten DNA is a song that can clearly be distinguished from many songs since it consists of heavy guitar strums as well as heavy drum beats heard throughout the song. We don't know if the song is suppose to sound frantic since its beat gets faster and faster as the song goes on until Kelly screams out the words "Its Rotting, It's Rotting!...." followed by a very unexplainable mixture of guitar strums to electric guitar drums causing a feeling of her DNA not being able take any and has finally gone rotten. We found this the standout part of the track as well as Kelly's hard voice over the beat. Of course, this songs needs a meaning correct? :

Quote:
Rotten DNA was really a kick ass track. I didn't need anyone's suggestions as to how I wanted the track to sound, and ultimately the feeling that you get after hearing it. I walked in the studio, had my lyrics written down in the notebook and the structure of the song. I threw it on my producers table and he looked at it for a few minutes and then said "Damn, your good!" with a smile on his face. I smiled slightly and said, lets do this shit! After a few days, we really had a standout track, I think its fucking great, hopefully everyone likes it too.

The song explains, after someone has taken so much hell from what life has to offer, you don't even feel like yourself anymore, kinda like you don't mean shit to anyone so in other words you feel rotten and from my experiences I felt like I had rotten DNA. I didn't wanna deal with life anymore and for us humans, DNA is everything. Like me for example, I went through the pain of an abusive father, my biological parents breaking up, my mothers drug addiction, my new family, and followed by my new hell. I felt uneasy and as if I was nothing and all that fuckery that came with life just made me feel horrible and once again I felt rotten. After listening to the song, I know people are gonna say, kick ass ending! I kinda mixed all these sick instruments and beats and it sounds like an auto bot kind of dying (That mechanical scream they make when defeated) but we turned it down and made it sound like your DNA is rotting as if your DNA is some type of robotic and mechanical substance, it happened when we mixed everything together for that part, turned it all around and it sounded all discombobulated, and that's exactly what we wanted. It really embraces the point of your DNA rotting! You have to listen to the song and hear the ending to get what I'm saying. I had to get experimental and just make it a memorable track and I feel like this is the only way to do it, by experimenting. I hope all these great fucking people out here realize that the same ol' music doesnt mean shit anymore, you experiment and wow, you got something memorable on your hands.

Rotten DNA is free to listen to now online, but will make a full impact when released to radios on Sunday, The 28th. We are surprised by this Kelly K. Now we look at the people, what will she release next? Can she be bigger than her sister? Does she even want that? More coming soon!
