Tanya's Debut Solo Album "So Far Away" Tracks Description
Here's descriptions of the tracks of Tanya's debut album with her comments!
1 - So Far AwayThe leading track is a pop ballad which was my first single as a solo artist. It's a very mature song and it was about when I was becoming a singer, I couldn't believe it. In the song I express how much I was worried that it wasn't true, that I would never become a singer, I express how much I felt like it was a dream that was exactly "so far away".2 - You're The Only OneThe second track was the second single I released as a solo artist and it's a dance/disco song. It's definately one of the best and most energetic songs to perform. The song is about my friends and how they make me feel alive when I'm sad. I thought I had to thank them writing this song, because maybe my gratitude will never be enough.
3 - Thirst For PainThis is one of my favourite tracks and it's one the first songs I wrote. It's a pop/rock song, which is about those times when we have felt so much pain that we don't really care anymore and we just want to hurt ourselves.4 - My ObsessionThis is another pop/rock track, but more soft than the previous one. It is about this person who wants its lover back because it can't live without the other one, even if this one did something wrong.5 - In One SoulThis track is a pop/indie song. It's a very beatiful a meaningful song which talks about the love of two people that combine them in one person. It's about all of those times that two lovers help each other with the force of love.6 - Unexpected Love (feat. Shantel Stiletto)The song has a pop/R&B/rap genre. Shantel is one of the best female rappers around and she's the right person for the rap. The lyrics talk about a person falling in love with someone unexpected, like a friend for example. 7 - Last Laugh Is MineThis is one of the best tracks of the album. It's a rock song where I let out all of my anger against those people who made fun of me in my life. The thing which surprised me in the song is how much perfect my voice fits it. I didn't expect it could fit a rock song like this. 8 - The Angel Who Saved MeThis track has easily the most beatiful lyrics in the album. It's a pop/indie song that talks about a time in my life when I was full of anxiety and fear and I didn't know how to do, but then this person came in my life and like an angel he saved me. 9 - So This Is LoveThe track is an R&B song. It's about the first time I fell in love: it was like a new world for me. I looked at everything in a different way, but it was also the first time when I discovered why love hurts.10 - TimelessThe last track has got a pop genre, with the leading sound of a guitar. It's about when I went to school and I didn't care about the time that was going by, because I was so much in love with this person who made me always feel fine.
