Rel is really the only rapper from Atlanta who has really been able to hold onto his street reputation and continue to make music that the streets feel. Since he left , Rel mixtapes usually drop regularly and the streets eat them up. Rel has a gritty style, incredile lyrics and he always seems to have stellar beatmakers behind him, whether they are known or unknown.
Rel's newest mixtape is titled "Back On My Rel Shit". This is actually the first new stuff from Rel in months, which is surprising because usually he's much more frequent with new material. This one has smokin new tracks like This is what made me, Come Back, Forgot about Me, The Real Is Back, Moving Slow, Young Millonaire,Can't Be Frineds No More and more. I have already listened to this twice and it is really good. The strongest material from Rel in a sec.

This song is about doing everything on a grand scale. This includes cars,women,drugs, and just basically lifestyle about the best.
2.In Love With My Money
Its another song about money. Rel flips it on this song. He raps about money but uses an methaphor that his money is an woman. The production is excellent and Rel flow fits the beat perfectly.
3.Letter To My Fallen Friend
This song is an letter to all of Rel's personal friends who are behind prison bars. He talks about friends that he grew up with and how they got in jail. In each verse he is talking to an particular friend and telling them about how things are in his life and about how things should be.
4. Forgot about Me
This is an emotional song about Rel's struggle in the music industry. He talks about how it feels to know you're good and you see other artist do big things. In the song he claims that labels don't want to sign him because he is "too" street. Rel claims that he feels like the industry forgot about him. He also feels that people know he's talent but they just didn't want to open they eyes.

In this song Rel address all the haters in Atlanta. He claims he is still the same person before the fame and money. In this song it is apparent that he is dissing somebody in the song. Also Rel describes an senerio where his Challenger was shot up while his brother was driving it. He says they thought it was him. He vowes to get revenge.

This song is an ode to Codiene aka syrup. Monte Carlos starts the song off flowing over the smooth beat talking about an day in his life. Then Rel comes in talking about how he likes his syrup and how he be feeling while on codiene. This song is for anybody who sips.
7. Trensetter #1
Rel talks about how he is an trensetter. He goes into detail of all the things he was the first to do. Rel even raps how everything he does it damn near becomes an trend in Atlanta. In the song he claims he's not mad about evrybody copying him.
8. Young Millionaire
This song is amazing. The production is incredible and Rel murders the song. The song is about Rel being young and rich while still being respected in the hood. He raps about his life and how he be stunting from cars, to women, to jewelry. He even talks about robbers in his city that may want to rob him. He tells them "You ain't taking nothing from me."Rel really spazzs out and flows on this beat.
9.Can't Be Friends No More (Featuring Monte Carlos)
In this song Rel claims that he was betryaed by most of his friends on his rise to fame. In the song he says "My friends showed that love loves nobody". In his verse he goes indepth about what happened. Monte Carlos raps about how he can't even trust his kinfolk because he swear there are scheming to get his money. Rel wraps up the song with another verse and makes claims that he loves nobody and tells all his friends that they can't be friends nobody. He also talks about his baby mother and says that she even did him wrong because she barely lets him see his daughter.

Rel raps about his childhood and his teenage years. He talks about his time getting into trouble and selling drugs. He also talks about growing up in poverty and watching his mother struggle.
