So, we all have them. The songs we have on our iPods that we don't want anyone to know we listen to. I'm asking you, let's all admit for a laugh, who are our totally embarrassing guilty pleasures?

For me, I like music all the way from cheesy pop right to death metal, the full spectrum, but I wouldn't admit most of my pop favourites in public lol. However, a quick iPod check, and I come up with these:

All Time Low
Avril Lavigne
Bowling for Soup
Daisy Dares You
Delphic
Ellie Goulding
Eliza Doolittle
Example
Fall out Boy
Fightstar
Journey (of course)
Kate Nash
Katy B
Katy Perry
Little Boots
Marina and the Diamonds
Mark Ronson
MNDR
Nickelback
Owl City
Paloma Faith
Paramore
Pixie Lott
Sugarcult
Twin Atlantic
YM@6
30 seconds to mars
3 OH! 3

These are all embarrassing bands I listen to regularly, normally these make up my playlist in the car lol. What about all of you guys?

I'm kind of embarrassed to confess to liking Protest the Hero, but not really. After all, why be "ashamed" about music you enjoy? I am not ashamed to admit I like The Monkees.

I do kind of feel ashamed to be a fan of certain bands because their fans tend towards being dicks. Tool are one of those bands. The Mars Volta are another.

Protest the Hero is not embarrassing. The singers vocal range is crazy!

Don't personally see any shame in PTH. They are an immensely talented, original metal band. Then again, a lot of people see no shame in liking what I've listed above.

Well, the kind of metal I normally like is rough-around-the-edges, usually slow, experimental. Protest the Hero are by comparison much closer to all the metal tropes I normally cannot stand. The production is slicker, all those fast riffs and noodley lead runs, the big 80s vibe... Somehow I guess Protest the Hero is twisty-turny enough to pull it off. But it's like caramel, I can't listen to too much of it because it's so sickly.

I wouldn't be embarrassed to listen to metal, but i dislike it. Simply because I can't connect to the sound and its not enjoyable for me. It hurts my ears.

There was a time that I got embarassed for liking a good pop song, but not the case now. The closest I get to embarassment is when I like bands who hold politically questionable viewpoints. Like Burzum or Drudkh, the racist fucks. But the music is soooooo bloody good.

I like Weezer, which is unusual because their music is somewhat pop like and today I started listening to Emigrate.

(I think I prefer Emigrate over Weezer, but I'm not embarrassed about liking any of them)

No, I used to be embarassed about liking a good pop song, now I'm perfectly comfortable in the fact that good music is good music, regardless of what the meaning behind the music is.

Tho TBF, the Che picture isn't any sort of idolation of Che or anything like that, it was more just this silly thing of taking this iconic photo & "jazzing it up" with my awful MS Paint skillz. I think the idea behind it was "bringing the fun to socialism" or something equally bizarre.

Omg that's exactly the way I felt when I saw it the very first time too. I thought to myself, "hey, that's Che Guerava, but that's not the right colors! he's probably just jazzing it up, bringing the fun to socialism I bet! Take that Americans!"

Though I will state that the Che movie that came out a few years ago was fucking cool.

And despite Che doing some shitty things in his years, at least he was an idealist when doing them, even if executions gave him a stiffy.
