NEW YORK, NEW YORK [DECEMBER 12TH 2010] Club and Longue Viper BEFORE THE SHOW A camera is focusing on Radio as she sits in a chair with a long black grown on and with red heels. She looks at the camera while a man's voice comes in. " This is your moment right?" Radio looks at him and starts to laugh. " Why are you questioning it?" The camera zooms in as she walks away. The camera cuts off. " Dont question my talent. What the fuck? Is like questioning a doctor?" She stands backstage as a loud man's voice is heard. Malory Evans, Shooting Stars CEO stands behind Radio with her head down. She looks in the back of her and winks at Malory. " I'm ready."
" Radio Vine" The crowd claps. THE PERFORMANCE The stage is dark as different colors light shine though the darkness but no one is seen. She walks with the black grown on but with a yellow jacket on it and red heels. Very colorful. She mixes dull life with color because she feels her life isnt complete. The dull color represents her pass and the colors represent's now. A bright red light shines as she steps off the light and walks out of the darkness. The audience claps, just a few screams. " I'm Radio Vine, real name Destiny Davis. This is my first performance, but it doesnt matter, it's about the stage. Just bare with me, it's going to be a ride." She walks up to the middle where the black mic is waiting. The song " Color Me" starts to sound off as she rocks her head from side to side. A sign of confidence. She closes her eyes for a minute, a brief prayer and starts to sing the chrous of the song. She sings with the beat, but more of a freelance version of the song. She begins to sing the first verse as her voice sounds lonely but with a sharp melody to it. She ends the verse one, but stops and breaths hard. She starts to sing the chrous and hook and starts to walk to the left part of the stage where people stand and smile at the disorder singer.
She kneels down to sing to the people; She looks into their eyes with passion. One person then touches her head as she reaches out. She continues to sing the chrous. " Everyone come together.." Everyone starts to move towards the left part of the stage. She stands up and walks back to the middle as the wind from the fan down to the bottom blows her hair. Her dress barely makes it from the ground. The instruments part of the song emerges in as the band, 40 Miles comes out on a silver platform. Mostly, drums and bass are played mixed with a little guitar. She completes the second verse and then stops.
She runs back and fourth very dramtically to the left and right side of the stage. Her dress seems it runs with her crying is heard on the stage. Her breath becomes short, but keeps on running. Everyone in the audience looks confused but then lightens up to see that she is trying to find herself on stage. She stands on the left side where a mic rises up. " Sometimes you feel you are losted.." she is breathing hard but still manages to talk. " It seems it gets harder every day!" The drums starts to play a very tense beat. " You will have to run and run, but one day, you will found that home you feel comfortable at." She starts to sing the bridge very slowly as she walks slowly to the middle of the stage. 5 huge lights with circles beneath them are on the roof. At the end of the bridge, she screams the last words and without sudden, Severel pictures and letters drop from the circles of the lights. She holds the long note as the intense band starts to play harder. Severel continues to fall as the audience claps with joy. She rises her hands in the air, holding the note but stops when one piece of paper comes down slowly. She looks up. She catches it. " I'm complete." The stage lights fades out.. OCC: Tell me what you think of her first performance. |
