It’s been a long time coming for this new album from you, how does it feel being that the album finna be released soon?
Rel: It feels good,man. I feel like I've been working on this album forever and its finally here.

You’re naming the album Mind Of A Miniac, Why?.
Rel: I feel like people don't understand me in the industry. So I'm viewed as different. So I decided to just bring people into my world.

There have been a lot of expectations placed on you with this new album. How do you feel about that?
Rel:Before I even started recording the album I knew that there would be expectations after the first album. I'm confident that once it is released it will be big.

What’s the story behind hooking up with Matty for an track?
Rel:I just called Matty up and told I wanted to work with him. He came down to the studio like the next day. We came up with an great record. In the process of recording I realized that this young dude is talented and smart. He told me somethings about about the business side of the music game.


You produced on a few tracks on the album. How do you balance the rapping and producing?
Rel: I just sorta grew into producing during this album. There were some things that I wanted done and I knew how I wanted everything to sound. So I just did those tracks that only could make. They turned out pretty good.

The album is definitely a hot one. With an album like “Mind Of A Maniac”, do you feel that the rap game is a little too watered down right now?

Rel:Most definitely man. You know what it is. I know I ain’t the only one who thinks it’s like that. It’s missing that raw, street music. You got a handful, maybe two handfuls of real, raw, uncut street music and the rest is just anything but that. They ain’t making real albums anymore. I'm continue to make music for the streets and just real music period.

There have been rumors circulating that you have just signed with a label. Care to talk about that?
Rel: I wish, man. I'm still unsigned.

Do you have any solo projects or mixtapes in the work?
Rel: After I get released I'm going to start on an mixtape. It will come out like 2 weeks before the album.

What’s up next for YRMG?
It's going to be a busy year. Monte Carlos will be releasing his first single soon. Then will push the album. Oh yeah and Trell is working on his solo album as well. Then we have an tour planned also.

Any last words before we wrap up this interview?
Rel: I want to thank all the fans and artist who have been supportive during this sad time. Also this is only going to make me stronger. When I get out its back to business.
