Ethan Plyth
On the 25th December 1988, Ethan Plyth was born to mother Helena Drew and father Fredrick Plyth. His mother was a music teacher at the local school in Woodbridge, Suffolk; and his father an accountant.
Ethan is the second of 4 children, having an older sister (Lauren) and two younger brothers (Max and Peter), so he was never alone as a child. Ethan much preferred the company of Helena to his brothers as she was only a year older than him whereas his brothers were 5-7 years younger than him. He would regularly hang around with Helena, and that was where he met Julie. It was love at first sight! Julie was one of Helena's friends so Ethan spent a lot of time with her.
From a young age Ethan had been able to play instruments. His mother had always insisted he knew how to play the piano, and the guitar. But he did also learn how to play the drums, which was a pass time for him.
He left school after year 11 with an A* in his Music, English and Geography GCSE's, the rest where really not worth mentioning.
Just after he left school, he started writing songs, and would record them with a very poor quality recorder he bought with some money he got for his birthday.
He recorded an EP, entitled '
Rose Thorns', which was a rather large success for him locally. This lead to lots of local music venues requesting that he come and play a set. Just before his 17th birthday, the local fame got too much for him, so he decided to stop doing gigs.
On his 17th birthday, Ethan asked Julie to go out with him - she said no, but that didn't stop Ethan's love for her. Within 2 months of this he had tried again and she accepted.
Two and a half years later, on Julie's 21st birthday, Ethan proposed to her. She accepted and on the 14th of July, Ethan and Julie became Mr and Mrs Plyth.
At his wedding, Ethan got up on the stage and played a song on the piano for Julie, it was a song that he himself had written, but it could have been passed off as a professional song-writer's.
4 months before the wedding
Ethan came home to a massive shock, Julie sat him down on the small leather sofa, and announced that she was pregnant. This was the highlight of a massive year for Ethan.
5 months after the wedding - on the 4th December - Julie gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Ethan and Julie decided to call her Daisy.
Unfortunately, on the 1st of September 2010, Julie was involved in a pile up on the motorway, and she died 3 days later. This left Ethan and his now almost 1 year old baby without a mother figure.
Fortunately for Ethan, Helena was still very close to the two of them, and she regularly helps him out.
Ethan started spending a lot of time writing after Julie died, it was his way of dealing with the loss. Julie had always told him that he should try and get back into the music scene, he was good at it, and it made her happy to hear him sing.
So now, Ethan is a single father with a 1 year old baby, with bags of potential to hit the big time.
