The Eager to Party Scholars, a band that has generated a nice buzz in the music business. We first saw them on huge music competition All Around The World as a force to be reckon with during the show. Becoming the top 3 for the weeks that the show lived before ultimately being shut down. After the show, the duo quieted down and it seemed as if there would be no more TETPS but that all changed in 2011. The Underground, which is a website and organization that highlights some of the most talented underground and up and coming acts of the year highlighted the Eager To Party Scholars. They automatically revived this buzz they once had stating that they have been hard at work, and quiet all because of it as well. The ending of January became the duo's big break, when they were approached by Michelle Green's team and they were proposed an opening act spot on the icon's tour and of course, TETPS accepted. Although due to their endeavors the duo had to leave The Underground to pursue other things and this is one of them. The Eager To Party Scholars debut single entitled Moonstruck has finally surfaced on the net.


Moonstruck has a very uber catchy melody that mixes two huge musical influences in Indie and Electronic music. And features synths, keyboards and the electric guitar. The song is about being 'moon struck', which is in other words, crazy. The song encourages anyone who is crazy (in a good way) or 'weird', to flaunt the fact that their weird, not to be stuck as an outsider just because they look different, act different or dress different but to use their "difference" as a secret power in society because in their opinion society makes people who do things entirely different from others, seem like the outsiders, and their not. The song can be looked at as inspiration, true or more negatively, controversial but what we can say is that the song does make year ears fall into heaven listening to the electronic sounds and instruments played by Jacob and Martha themselves. As this song is released, we are eager to see how this song does, because although there are alot of labels looking to pick up the duo, they are taking chances and waiting to see how well the single does before signing any contracts what soever, and luckily got marketing dollars and distribution through 'The Underground' . How far can this this duo go after releasing this great single?
