SALUTON MIA AMIKOJ

I am nota999, that guy who made all that 8-bit music currently circulating the interwebs. I don't like calling it 8-bit, though, it's more than that. I call it by it's real name. Chiptune. Go ahead and google it. I'll wait... got it? okay. Anyway, I do all the programming, instruments, and vocals myself.

What I really wanted to announce though, is that I will be releasing my first official EP soon. It will be called "Dungeon Crawler". It features songs I wrote, including a few already on the internet like "Dungeon Crawler", "Rebel", and "Little Red Book". So...yeah... see ya.

Hey loyal blog followers, guess what. I went in my favorite little coffee shop today only to find several famous musicians in there. I saw John York, and I saw Millie Little talking to someone that I could've sworn I recognized, but I just couldn't put my finger on it. I really didn't know other people knew about that place. Also, the EP should be coming out in a few days.

To temporarily quench your thirst for the EP, here's a video I found of myself performing "Dungeon Crawler" on youtube.

The video is clearly caught on a cell phone. The video pans over the room, showing about 150 people at the show. Everyone is standing and talking, waiting for the show to start. The lights go out and the crowd cheers. An electronic bass drum begins to pound, some people in the crowd also cheer at this, recognizing the song. Lights come on behind the man onstage behind the turntables, silhouetting him. He begins to get people to clap along with the bass drum. A barely audible bass/synth line comes in, followed closely by a low guitar sound. The music pauses briefly and the lights go out. Then they come back on in a flash, completely illuminating him and his shirt, though almost illegible with the video quality, that reads "Famous on the Internet", as the song starts up again faster, and with a new 8-bit melody. The crowd has started dancing, causing the cameraman to be jostled and the camera shaking too much to really make out a video. The song continues like this, with shouting in the background of the song, barely audible from the recording. The song ends suddenly after the shouting voice says something, and the crowd cheers. The video tilts downward as the camera tells his phone to stop filming.
