Hello guys, well this is the Interview that I did with Tom Orgsen, the Vocalist of one Up-and-Coming Metal Band from Oslo, Norway. Their particular Style is the mix of a lot of genres and elements, such as Death Metal, Black Metal, Power Metal, Speed Metal, Neo-Classical Metal, Orchestral Metal, Symphonic Metal and Progressive Metal. With only 3 Singles Released, selling almost 1.000.000 copies in total, they became a Metal's promise. Now they're working on their debut album with the Famous Producer and Musician, Jason Smith.
Q: Hey Tom, thank you for agreeing to do this interview. Lets start with a question about your upcoming debut album with REÄLM.A: Yeah, that's going great. We're in a "secret" studio with Jason Smith and he's doing his work perfectly. We think the album will be released in April. Now, we're re-recording the Songs from the singles for the Album. We'll put more Orchestral and Symphonic elements.
Q: It sounds great! Told me about Terje Lundsten, the bassist and founding member of REÄLMA: *Laughs* well...he is a strange guy *Laughs*, but he is an excellent musician and person. He's very perfectionist in the studio, he is working the entire day, adding arrangements, editing the Bass Lines or things like that. He's one of the best Songwritters that I know!
Q: How did you contact Jason Smith...you know that he is one of the Most Famous producers!A: Yes, it was great. I sent an e-mail and HE answered! It was a great moment. I thought that he would not answer, but he answered and here we are, working with him.
Q: Are you thinking to call him for the Next REÄLM's Album?A: Sure!
Q: Have you got any solo stuff planned?A: No...I'm %100 concentrated in REÄLM now.
Q: There's some REÄLM's world tour planned?A: Yes. We'll embark on a tour to support our debut album, I think we'll support a band, because we're a new band and we can't make a headlining tour now.
Q: What do you think of the Metal scene on these days?A: Well, there are some good bands but there are only a few, like Blood Of Wecz. I was very sad with the Decoupling of Mind, but I understood that they will never be a band anymore. So, now I love the Jason Smith Band!
Q: Last question, What's your favourite metal band?A: Mmm, Blood Of Wecz...no, Mind...I can't decide, that bands are the best.
