Tisha Announces Album Release Date & Her Single Debuts in The Top 5

 This week is already proving to be a big week for Tisha. She released her brand new single off her still untitled album last week and the single has already debut in the Top 40 in Australia, New Zeeland, and Canada. But it has also debut in the Top 5 on the Top 20 Weekly Countdown. It has debut Number 2 in its first week of release. It is Tisha’s highest position on the Top 20 Weekly Chart. Tisha: “ I am so happy and over excited with the response to the single. It feels good that the fans actually liked it and they wanted it on airplay so much. I am really excited to see what they’ll say about my upcoming singles that I plan to release.”Tisha has also decided to push her album’s release date. Instead of the album being released in April the album has been pushed back to June. The official release date for the album is June 14th, 2011. The albums new release date is due to leave more time for recording more tracks for the album. It also leaves more time for Tisha to release another single and video before the album’s release date. Tisha: “This album is perfect for the summer. It’s a summer album. A lot of hot tracks and up-tempo. I just wanted some new music for the summer for my fans. But also I can now record some more tracks for the album. I should be done and completed with the album two weeks from now, which should be the last week of April. A lot of surprises are in store for you guys in the upcoming weeks, so be prepared.Tisha has also landed the April cover of Vogue. She recently shot the cover and pictorials for the magazine in February with famed photographer, Annie Leibovitz. In the interview
(which is described as Tisha’s most revealing interview) the R&B/pop superstar talks about her new album, the industry, and everything in her personal life.
You can expect to hear two new singles released before the album. One will be released in April, the other released in May before the album. So you will hear two singles and see one more video before the album premiers. |
