"We Drink His Blood" wants to prove that death metal can be inspiring and uplifiting. Frontman Solomon Jacobs says that this can be accomplished by puting Jesus right at the center of it, "You don't have to be a Satan worshipper to be HARDCORE" he says, "we just want to let people know that all they have to do is drink Jesus' blood, like we do, and they can kick eternal damnation right in the arse...........HARDCORE". Drummer Jesus Lorenzo, the token minority, quickly points out that Jacobs is reffering to the 2000 year old rabbi who founded Christianity, not him. "Drinking my blood would be cannibalistic" he adds. "Yeah" says Jacobs, "but so is drinking Jesus' blood, we're HARDCORE." Keep a look out for We Drink His Blood's first album, "HARDCORE Neon Crucifix". It will be HARDCORE. Their first single "The Godbotherers" is also HARDCORE, and has topped the Christian music charts, surprising many Sunday morning radio listeners by playing alongside such easy-listening fare as NewSong's The Christmas Shoes and Faith +1's JesusBaby. It has not charted anywhere else. We Drink His Blood's members want you to have a safe, but HARDCORE weekend, and hope you enjoy the rest of your April Fool's Day.
