"The Streets"-- a single from his anticipated new album, "The Streets Are Mine" -- finds the Altanta rapper riding a lush, gorgeously arranged beat with an indelible pop hook. It's pretty much exactly what you want out of a Rel track but it also has commrical appeal.

YRMG producer Trell, who worked on Rel's last effort Mind Of A Maniac, lay down a breezy, top-down sound packed with piano and bass drums. It's a perfect match for Rel, who knows how to casually ride a slow beat and turn a simple chorus into rewind worthy material. The kind of lonely-at-the-top talk is pretty standard anyone who is famous but his low-key charisma keeps him approachable.Still, that Trell beat is what cinches it-- the smooth, summery beat is amazing.
