Yeah so.

Animal Collective - My Girls

Took a while but after this song grew on me, I can't stop listening to it. "I don't want to seem like I care about Material Things. All I want is four walls and adobe slats for my girls."

Toro Y Moi - Still Sound

THe music video and the sounds make me think about old Scooby Doo episodes. Plus he dances like a fucking pro.

Andrew Jacson Jihad - Brave as a Noun

Fatter Than Albert - Fever and Chills

Defiance, Ohio - Tanks! Tanks! Tanks!

Leonard Cohen - So Long, Marianne

They're not underappreciated, they're just not famous..

Scroobius Pip is amazing, one of the few reasons I can say I like to say I come from Essex.

Animal Collective aren't underappreciated after thinking about it. Added them due to excessive listening. The National are a band that's slowly getting recognized, very slowly but I foresee them getting pretty mainstream in a year or so due to them hanging with Arcade Fire quite a bit.

@Rincewind

Cohen is a fucking wonderful musician but Metric aren't underappreciated. They won a Juno last year but the band is good nonetheless. Black Sheep was awesome on the SP Soundtrack.

Think Animal Collective were hipster band of the year 2009 with Merriweather Post Pavillion. Decent enough album though.

Anyway, Paul can totally see what's coming here. Under-rated as far as commercial success goes, but generally critically acclaimed, I present to you The Brian Jonestown Massacre. (No, it's not metal music, it's heavily influenced by 60s psychedelia & the like)

Give it a try.

You'd be surprised how many people know about 'Comfortably Numb". I'm more of a 'Wish You Were Here' and 'Time' guy myself.

Most people don't recognize it as Pink Floyd. I think "Money" is more popular, and "Another Brick in the Wall", but it's still not like super popular.

Everybody thinks of Dark Side of the Moon, but how many people actually sat down and listened to it? What a beautiful piece of work imo. My fave by them.

Seriously? Don't be daft, Pink Floyd are big for a fucking reason.

DSotM still sells nearly 10000 copies a week in the US, all these years later. Nah son, Pink Floyd are not underappreciated, they are one of the biggest names in rock music alongside The Stones, Beatles, Led Zep & so forth

The Drums are fairly underappreciated in the UK at least I'd say.
