I think I finally really made-up my mind just now. I came up with the cheesiest but most perfect way to go ahead with this.
We've been playing yu-gi-oh every time Alice comes over. I have attached a note asking her out to a card...when its played, she'll get to answer.
Folks who yell "lame", its the basis of our friendship, and really I think its my best chance and certainly the most romantic thing I could ever come up with.

I think it is a great way to do it :') i see that you have decided to go ahead with it then obviously - it can be awkward going out with someone who is a couple of years younger at our age (i am also only 16) but if you really like her then you should definitely give it a go :) |

Thanks man, my sisters going to hate me but we'll see what happens.
I came to this conclusion while just lying on my bed trying to go to sleep and decided it wasn't worth being miserable thinking about it every second of the day when I could just give it a shot. |

If this girl is the only one you've felt comfortable with - like properly comfortable with - then i see no reason to not go ahead with this. The worst that can happen is that she'll say no - but there are plenty of other girls out there anyway so it really doesnt matter much at our age :')

Is she a hippy? Im just kidding. It's worth pointing out though that you should guage the situation closely. Some women might not like a guy they're not going out with to sketch pictures of them, it might seem creepy. I'm not saying all women, just some would be like....wtf? |

No, it is creepy. I know that. I hadn't intended on doing random sketches of her, but I had been wanting to try and draw a female and see if I could finally make it look like a girl instead of a guy and...well I ended up drawing her. She doesn't know and honestly they dont look much like her anyway.
Then again I could have easily screwed this up before it began so...we'll see. |

That's actually pretty amazing. Usually all guys care about is getting inside someone's pants. You actually do drawings of her. So that pretty much just shows how much you actually care about her. Good on you man :)

Okay, simply because I have nothing better to do than talk about myself I'm gonna chronicle this with the next chapter...
Next month I'm chauffeuring both Shelby and Alice to a concert of their favorite band. An interesting turn of events considering everything...lol.
I know for a fact that it wouldn't be right to ask her that night, because if she doesnt feel the same way it could ruin a pretty exciting evening for her and I dont want to do that. So would the next time I see her be a good idea? Maybe I'm viewing the concert night wrong?

Nike. Just do it. The longer you leave it, the likelihood that you will actually do it will diminish and eventually disappear. I'd say if you're gonna do it, then do it the next time you see her. As in, before the concert. If she says no then she'll get over it by the time you get to the concert day anyway. |
