I love Lightning Bolt. You of course get the obvious shoegaze ones like My Bloody Valentine and The Jesus and Mary Chain... I would also recommend the album Devlab by my main man Devin Townsend, which is like creepy industrial noise. Mogwai do noise rock every now and then, Yo La Tengo, Scarling and maybe Mew. Uhhhh... some Animal Collective I guess is pretty good, noise wise... that's all I can think of.
Awards (stroking myself and thinking I'm superior):
@Chaos awards:
Best Band - Mind
Best Album - Shattered Fairytale by Mind
Technical Ecstasy - Jason Smith (x3)
Best Solo Male - Jason Smith
Birdies:
Best Producer - Jason Smith

Animal Collective's MY GIRLS is an awesome song. Also the new Mogwai song, I forget its name but it's instrumental and has a guy walking down a snow filled street.

Noise genres use the frequently 'unwanted' refuse of more conventional rock styles(feedback, distortion, heavy distortion whereas the lyrics or vocals to a song can be barely be heard). I could go as far as saying the most easily accessible band for Noise music(even though most of their albums are a little hard to get into) would be maybe Sonic Youth? After listening to a bit of Iggy and the Stooges then trying out Youth's Daydream Nation(mainly The Sprawl) check out some of the newer bands like NO AGE and SLEIGH BELLS.

Skullflower do some fairly structured stuff, but it's a bit more extreme I would say. Go further down the pure noise rabbit hole with the likes of Prurient, Merzbow, Wolf Eyes, Nurse With Wound etc.

Nurse with Wound is dark dark stuff. I don't think I'm ready for drone yet, I still like the sorta upbeat ways of the Noise I listen to now.
