Welcome, wanderer! You have stumbled upon the homepage of Midnight/Mythic Records.

Midnight/Mythic Records has one of the longest and most glorious histories of all labels. Starting off as a label run by current co-owner Katie, former owner of Rekordfirma van Mouschi, and Raven of Thunderwolf, we started off wanting to be something different to the "sign anyone" label that had become so popular. Some of our early signings included Thunderwolf, then a brand new band with little knowledge of what great things were to come to them, and Missing Pages, our longest-running and possibly most loyal signing.

M/M has always been known for "buying" labels and changing our label to fit artists' needs specifically. Our first deal was made with Souled Out Records, made to be a label for new bands. A few months later we acquired Serenade Records, and with it, new owner Lewis Mason and My Freaky Valentine, one of the most famous bands in the industry, now defunct. Serenade's name was changed to Requiem Records and we had a four-label system. The next label on board was GirlSpice's own label Spice Records. Finally, as we rebranded to Midnight Records in our last days, along with Wont Be Denied lead vocalist Mike Williams, we brought back the legendary Destruction/Victory/Insomnia Records. This did not last long, and the label soon fell apart.

Now, it's back. We started off with four artists - ex-fAthOm member (and M/M co-owner) Jakey's new band This Comatose, Lewis Mason's new band Final Heaven, former Moronic Changeling member Rayne Berry, and new girlband Divalish! featuring a mix of girls. We hope to sign some more, the best old and new artists that we can get, but we won't sign just anyone, or buy up every label there is. Midnight/Mythic Records is back as it started, and not planning to change - we are headstrong, but moral.

20th : FIVE new signings, warm welcomes to Sudan, Enoch, The Theosophical Society and Hollywood Zombie, also Casting Thin Shadows have decided to record their final album with us. Five Midnights in a day. Only two of which we asked. Wow.
19th : We signed our first non-pre-signing - Rebel Uprising! Welcome on board, pleased to have you here! (:
18th : Midnight/Mythic Records has officially returned!

(This wasn't that interesting, come to think of it. Ah well. I'll write a better press release and spruce up the site soonage, I just had to work proper quick.)

I was wondering if Casting Thin Shadows last album could have the honor of being released through Midnight/Mythic Records? The album won't be released until August. But we plan on making an epic last album. What do you say? We were considering to self-release our last album but we would love for it to be released through one of our old labels we loved so much.
