03.01.10: We're not reuniting but we just thought we would let everyone know that the live album is still coming out! Once Luna passed the band went downhill and now we all don't even talk to each other. But maybe one day we will see the light and things will get back right but for now I thought I would take the time to let everyone know what is up.

I recently have released a double album with Qaurantine. It's called Amneisa/The Catalyst. Both are two different albums. One is very ambient while the other is more indie and progressive. I think we did some really great work on the album but lately I've been focused on my new solo album I hope to have out this month and I've been writing early demos of the next A Static Theory album. We got about 10 songs written for our next Quarantine record but we don't plan to focus on them songs until we get back in the studio as a full band. Alan is helping me with the Quarantine albums and has drummed on my new solo album. John and Marcy haven't heard nothing from. Last I heard Marcy was helping Alex Sin on a new solo album but Alex has taken a break again from music and John was producing albums. I heard he produced one of The Waiting Rooms albums and it was good. I'm not gonna lie.

Well I thought I would just update everyone on how our new lives are doing!

Love,
-rf

Ah, the long road that we have traveled! We've been through the highs, the lows, the mediums. We would like to take this time to clearify this winter a new Casting Thin Shadows album will be released! This is no joke at all. The band have been in talks of this lately and everyone agreed on doing this for one more last time. An exciting time indeed. Regan and Alans Quarantine are already in the studio working on their new album and hope to tour all summer then this fall the band will record it's 14th long awaited album. This album is for Luna and we know she would have want this from us. It is unclear what will happen after this album and tour is over but we do know we are excited. The album will be self-produced and we all know you are excited. We plan to do a tour with our close friends in Fear and other special guests this winter as well so stay on the look out. John and Regan recently reconnected on their friendship and there is so much magic in the air with us 5 it's insane. Long live Rock and long live Casting Thin Shadows!

Love,
John, Marcy, Regan, Alan, and Dante.

The band recently regrouped when bunker18s debut album was being recorded. They already have 8 songs finish and hope to have over 20 finish for the record. Stay on the lookout for more news!

The reunion will take place! The band are already writing and recording a little bit before entering the studio after Alan and Regan finish their tour with Quarantine. John Smith recently described the new album as being a return to goth rock but mixed in with some industrial music. He said the new album will be dark but it will have like an ambient vibe to it as well. The band claim that the album they are working on was already being worked on before they disbanded last year when they lost their keyboard player Luna Star.

An E.P. will be released at the end of the next month. It will be called "Revenant of Solitudes E.P." and will have the following songs:

01. Revenant of Solitudes
02. Winchester
03. The Art of Disappearing

Regan had this to say on the reunion:
"I think it's going to be great. We're going on tour with the recently reformed Fear and the amazing Jakey Comatose who has returned to music! I think this tour is going to be huge and amazing! The new album though is mostly influenced on the constant change we go through in life and it is being mainly done for Luna but I'm not going to say that because we are all having a great time despite the bad times we have had in this band. Some confirm titles for the album are "Winchester", "Bright Lights of Wisdom", "Dharma", "One Thousand and One Nights", "Gloomface"(Most likely going to be the first single). We had some of these songs written before we disbanded but we are redoing everyone we had written. We hope to make this album our darkest, heaviest, and amazing record. It will be mostly dark melodies but at the same time some songs will be more bitter but not to bitter if you know what I mean?"

The band are to announce the release date at a later time and artwork as well. Regan also went on to say that so far the album is being called "Revenant of Solitudes" but the self-titled track won't be on the upcoming album.

The page has been updated with a new biography that describes the bands good times and bad times coming up. We WILL be touring soon so stay on the lookout for the dates. The 14th studio album will be called "Revenant of Solitudes" and we aren't sure if this will be our last album. We might get back together after the tour and do another record we aren't to sure. Album is influenced by the supernatural and the afterlife. The first single will be "Gloomface" and will be released in August but the E.P. will be released next month. We've managed to record a couple of songs before Regan went on tour with Quarantine. He is a busy man right now. Producing Fears E.P. and new album as well right now. We can't wait to record this album its gonna be huge! Like I said earlier though tour dates will be posted soon.

Love,
Marcy Smith

09.21.2010: Recording of the new album goes underway starting today! We are producing this album along side Jakey Comatose who is going to help us out and perform keys on the record since Luna was always such a huge fan of him we thought what better way then to get Jake pay tribute to her on this album. The album is going to be dark, different, industrial, experimental, fun, about ghosts and shit. We are still going with Revenant of Solitudes for the albums title. We hope to have it done before late October. We are still however planning a world tour with Fear and Jakey Comatose we hope we can get this in full effect before we are done recording. Regan is still taking a break but he is in the studio to go ahead and get a full start like the rest of us in here. We're in London recording this album at an old abandon house that is kinda spooky. It's out in the country and hardly anything is out here. We did this to get a more haunting vibe on the record. Rather or not this will be our last album is still however known. We do know one thing we plan to tour our assess off and be around more with this album again. We already feel at home as a band recording again and hope to rebuild our friendships and be a better band to not only our fans but for our friendship of what we have been through. We'll keep you updated on the recording...

Later.

11.02.10: Check back here during the week for some huge news regarding a tour, new album, and something else as well.

The band have been really busy on the new album. Regan's vacation was spent mostly in the studio recording their new album but he has been taking a break as well. The album sounds brilliant so far. It stands for everything Casting Thin Shadows has been about. It's got a haunting feeling vibe on this record and the details and everything will be release some time this week or next!

We're not going on a tour like promise with Jakey Comatose, and Fear but Casting Thin Shadows are in the talks of a huge tour so stay tune.

C. Tyson From Lithium: Oh.... tour with this band? that would be our biggest dream. We would definitely go crazy if we were chosen as opening acts. Is it possible?
