Serenity: We're great, just a little tired as we've been working so hard.

Sierrah: Yeah, it's like a shock to the system as I've not been thinking about music and now I'm suddenly back in the group.

Clea: Yeah this is my first proper interview, I feel all official and grown up! Ha

Maddie: I've been for a job interview before if that counts? But that was boring, not as fun as this.

Clea: Never in a million years did I think I'll be in a British girl band. I just moved from Ireland to London with my mum about a year ago, we moved to be closer to my aunt who was really unwell and she unfortunately passed away in June and we just sort of stuck around. I then met a girl who lives in the same building as me and she and I became close friends. She was a talent scout for Black Cat Records and she heard me sing before and really wanted to sign me as a solo artist, literally down on her knees begging me! But I refused as I just didn't think I was cut out for it. She then approached me to audition for a band and I agreed just to make her happy, not thinking anything would really come of it. But then I walk into the auditions and see Ife, Sierrah and Serenity there and they were so lovely and my heart started pumping so fast as I was in a room with Brown Sugar! After I got in, I ran home and told my mother and went out to celebrate. And now here I am!

Maddie: I grew up in Milton Keynes alongside a big family of music lovers, I have also known Sierrah from a young age and I've met the girls a few times before so we were on first name terms. When I heard that the girls were reforming I was so happy as I love their music but when Sierrah kknocked on my door and asked me to audition for the band, I nearly died! Who wouldn't want to be in Brown Sugar!? Of course I accepted and when I auditioned they were super lovely. And now we are all like one big family....only not related.

Clea: They were amazing. I got lots of tweets supporting me and Maddie. Brown Sugar fans are the best.

Maddie: People do miss Una and Victoria but they are really lovely towards even though they haven't heard me or Clea sing yet!

Ife: I loved that show! I was the first one in and I got to see everyone enter and see their journey in the house. I loved being there because I met so many great people. I will miss actually being together with everyone because in the outside world you go off and do your own thing and forget about people, where as in the house you HAD to speak and interact with others otherwise you would get so bored and it really paid off as I made great friends for life.

Ife: I actually came out of my shell more. I became the real crazy me and didn't care about anything, but on the outside world I had to act more professional again and focus on my career and be serious.

Serenity: We are writing new songs for our album, we only have 2 songs written at the moment and we haven't recorded them or know if we are even going to record them but we all work well together and I'm sure that whatever we actually do will be amazing.

Sierrah: We also have a fantastic little thing coming up which I can't tell you yet but it involves gigs, Twitter and a whole lot of travelling.

Sierrah: Well I'm not sure what else I can tell you....eh...It involves sleeping in stranger's homes. I know it sounds weird but it will make sense soon, haha.

Ife: Hopefully it will still be this line up!

Clea: Well we hope to have the album out in I think it was summer 2012 we agreed on?

Maddie: Yeah spring or summer.

Clea: Yeah, so hopefully that would have happened, a few singles released too and in a year from now, November 2012, maybe we will start working on album number 3.

Serenity: And possibly touring as well which we haven't done in a long time.

Sierrah: And hopefully be a lot richer!

Clea: Marilyn just because I know who he is.

Ife: Jocelyn! I don't like anything Marilyn stands for at all.

Sierrah: I would like to be stuck with either, I'd get a chance to give them make overs they need!
