I met with Gia Rose-Hilton, the CEO of Studio 60 Records and we have struck up a deal to renew my previous contract. Obviously she'll be watching me like a hawk, and if i disappear again it's all gone, but i don't intend to do that!! So yeah, 1 album at Studio 60, and then we'll see what happens!! I also wanted to make you all aware, that there are still tickets available for my new friend Amy-Jayne's 90's tribute concert at Madison Square Gardens on Saturday night. I will be there, Rum & Coke will be there, and in general it will be an epic night!! I will be premiering my new single there, but actually i'm not yet 100% sure which of the two tracks from my album that i will be playing will be the single - so we'll see!! So make sure you come along and get a first listen to all of them!! It's my first gig since my return to the industry, so lets see what happens!!! Remember - my old EPs are still available to stream online and to download from iTunes if you really want them, and my new album will be out by the end of the year with any luck!! Description A slow piano riff starts the song, it is simple and relaxing. The tune is played on a low scale with the odd higher pitched note thrown in almost at random. The short loop continues four or five times, and then a very quiet guitar loop is played. The guitar is only a secondary piece, and the piano still leads the song into the first verse. The piano becomes incredibly intricate as the first verse starts; the guitar stays only to hold the rhythm. Sammy’s vocals are very soft, barely more than a whisper as he sings the first verse. Suddenly he slams on the keys and belts out the chorus. The guitar part is harder, becoming more of a strummed tune than the rhythm part. The piano piece is fast and as intricate as before, but the guitar really leads the chorus more than the piano. Sammy pleads to the listeners, pleads for them to feel the way that he feels allowing the listeners to connect with the lyrics more. Sammy starts the second verse; it is much the same as the first except his vocals are louder now. The piano tune slows down a bit now, and is a little louder now. The guitar reverts to back to holding the rhythm again. Then the chorus comes back around and is exactly the same as the first. This leads straight into the bridge. The piano play becomes a lot louder and more complex, as does the guitar tune. The two tunes mix perfectly with Sammy’s pleading vocals, and his voice fades out. Slowly, the piano picks up again out of the silence as Sammy starts the final chorus. The piano gets to its high point and the guitar suddenly kicks in and the strings are thrashed at, making a loud and conclusive ending to the song. After the chorus finished, his voice fades out with the final strum of the guitar. He quietly sings the final two lines of the song, and sighs as the lyrics end.

Week one of my new single being out on radios and we hit number 2! Behind a worthy opponent though, so i suppose i can live with it!! Really excited about what might happen this week, i really didn't expect anything quite so epic straight off!! I suppose i might've just written an epic ;) I am still writing for the album, never stop really!! I think i've found a good 7 or 8 songs that are definitely staying on, just need to find another 3 or 4 to complete it!! Excited at how things are going right now!! I've actually done it! We got number one!! AHAHAHAAH!!!! My first official release from my album has hit the number one spot! OhmygodOhmygodOhmygodOhmygodOhmygodOhmygodOhmygodOhmygodOhmygodOhmygodOhmygodOhmygod! POW! Most requested song of the week! YEEEEEEEEESS!!!!!!!!! SO EXCITED!! It's still number 2! Three weeks on the radio and it's still in the top 2! How amazing is that? VERY! On another note, YOU CAN DOWNLOAD NUMB ON ITUNES RIGHT NOW!! So please please pleeeease go and get your copy so you can listen to it all the time!! My mini tour ended a few days ago by the way, and that went down a treat! Really happy with it! All the new material has been fairly widely accepted and i have no worries about releasing it all on the album! And speaking of the album, I now have a name for it! We've decided on Some Words I Wrote On A Broken Heart, it's a bit long winded, but actually i really like it! That's 8 places! We need to really push up for 5th again next week!! If you've not already downloaded my single, then GET ON IT AND DOWNLOAD IT NOW!! I'm fairly happy to say that the single is not a flop at least, charting at 2nd last time in the downloads is amazing anyway! The song is down to 3rd in Airplay, which is still incredible! It's been an awfully long time! I don't know whether I'm coming or going at the moment, such a mad rush all the time! I just need to take a week or two off out in the sun I think! Thinking the Caribbean!! Might just take lovely little Melva away with me too! That's right ladies, unfortunately for all of you I am currently in a very happy relationship with a beautiful, wonderful, talented woman! So back to music! I can't believe how long it has been since i've updated you all! I've done a lot of touring over the past few months, and am still working on getting this album completed! I promise you Gia, i'll get it done!! So yeah, LOADS of BIG NEWS! Firstly, i'd like to thank all of you for being such huge supports for all of the singles! Each of them has hit the number one spot on the airplay charts, and Feet in the Sand actually hit number one on the downloads charts too! I can't believe how well it has all gone and i just want to thank you all again! I have two pretty awesome announcements now, one of them is personal and the other is music related. So firstly, I have been personally asked by Mr Nick Cassavettes - the guy who directed The Notebook - to do a song for the soundtrack of his new movie which is due to hit cinemas in the next few weeks! The film is called "Just Say Yes", which funnily enough is the name of the song... Coincidence? I think not...! So the song will be out on the radios in the next few weeks too, but unfortunately won't be available to download until the soundtrack is released, or my album is released. Now for my personal announcement.... Melva and I are officially engaged to be married! We've been seeing eachother for almost a year, and I can't live without her. She's perfect for me!
