One More Night will be out in a few hours in the US, UK, and Canada. With a very short time until this new single goes on sale, Ryan Page did one last interveiw.
Q: So this single has been claimed to be "the ultimate party single" by Ryan, why?Ryan: Well, One More Night, the song, is the real party song. Low and Hungover is more of a song like Sober. And to top it off, Razorblades and Black Magic is possibly
the most depressing song in the history of the world. Rest in Peace, Nathan.
You say that everytime you talk about the song. Why is that?Ryan: Christopher wasn't our original bassist. Before we even did our first show, my best friend Nathan Walker was on bass. However, he also had mental problems and tragically took his own life about a year ago. H-he c-c-called me o-on the ph-phone when he shot himself. I'll never be able to forget that. (Begins to cry hard) C-can y-y-you give me a m-minute?
(Later)
So, how do you expect this single to do?Ryan: Well, I want it to go number one everywhere, but I know that won't happen. I at least want it to crack the top 40, and the top twenty after that.
Do you have any plans for the single after that?Ryan: It's going to be a song called
Run Along, which we are going to do so far in true 80's style, but the style is always changing. I play synth all through the song and it sounds epic. The whole song is really big, reminescent of The Final Countdown from Europe.
Well, thanks for conducting this interveiw with us.Ryan: Thanks for having me.
